Sommarøy is 50 km from the airport in Tromsø, the westernmost part of Troms. It´s easy to drive to get to Sommarøy, turn right from the airport and within a few minutes you will pass a bridge over to Kvaløya. Follow the cozy countryroad and enjoy the beautiful nature during the one hour drive to Sommarøy.
Sommarøy is a beautiful little coastal community with a shop, a hotel, ocean activities (whale-safari, guided fishing, boat renting etc.). The main industry here is fishing. A cozy little community with stunning nature, completely overlooking the open sea. In the winter time we often see whales.

When you have drove over the bridge to Sommarøy, drive exactly 1,6 km. You will come to an intercection (the first one after the bridge, where it is a road both to the right and to the left). Turn right and follow the road up the small hill and turn left. Now you can see a grey house, and here will you stay.
