The Sequel is located in downtown Wells, MN. This second story apartment has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, a kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals, and a view of main street.

Note: There are 28 steps (with a landing in the middle) to access this apartment. Please DO NOT book this property if you cannot go up and down several flights of stairs.

The space
This beautiful old building has had a lot of love and sweat poured into it to make it the welcoming space it is today. Completely redone in the past few years, this three bedroom, two bathroom apartment is ready to welcome you for a stay of any length.

***If you are working with per diem, you are welcome to message me about reserving a week to start and extending your stay after you arrive. ***

Located approximately 28 steps above street level, you'll love unwinding in front of an electric fireplace with lovely views of Wells' main street in the background.

The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking amenities you need to prepare meals, as well as a full size fridge and a dishwasher. The apartment also includes both a washer and dryer. Linens and towels are included, as well as a starter amount of soap, paper products and coffee pods.

Bedroom one includes a king size bed, bedroom two has a twin over full, and bedroom three has a twin bed. The first bathroom has a tub/shower combo, while the second bathroom has a standalone shower.

Wi-fi is available throughout the apartment.

Also located within walking distance on main street are the historic Flame Theatre, The Pink Cup Coffee Shop, the Wells Bake Shop, the Clothes Closet thrift store, the Humble Heart quilt shop, and Country Roads floral and gifts. A short drive will bring you to the grocery story.

Restaurants in town include the Loma Azul Mexican restaurant, the VFW, Jake's Pizza, Subway and Dairy Queen. Of course, there's always Casey's pizza as well. Ten minutes northwest, in Minnesota Lake are the Orange Door, Our Place on Main, and The Great Escape. Ten minutes west, in Easton, is the iconic Margaret's Pub and Club 569.

If you're in the area for an event at JR's Barn, it's approximately 15 minutes away.

Things to do include a visit to the municipal pool during the summer, or Half Moon or Thompson Parks if you have kiddos who need to stretch their legs. In Alden, 10 minutes east and south, is Lake Morin, which is a tiny lake with a small sandy beach and small playground, as well as abundant small fish if you have a pole. It's a family favorite on hot days.

Need anything else last-minute? Thrifty White Pharmacy, the Wells True Value, or Dollar General probably have you covered.

Other things to note
The Sequel is a second story stay. You will need to climb approximately 28 steps (with a small landing halfway up) to reach the apartment.

There are starter amounts of paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, tissue) and a dishwasher detergent pod. Guests staying for more than one or two nights will need restock. Laundry detergent is not provided.

All other basic necessities (linens, towels, etc) are provided. The kitchen is well-suited to long-term stays. A microwave, small air fryer, blender, ample cookware and bakeware are all provided.
