During the month of March, Fort Lauderdale will be hosting Spring Break for colleges and universities throughout the United States. As Marriott’s BeachPlace Towers sits atop many bars and restaurants on Fort Lauderdale Beach, there will be heavy crowds, delays in traffic, and loud noise during Spring Break. While the resort, in conjunction with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, does all we can to minimize noise and inconveniences – the crowds can be lively should be expected while at the resort during Spring Break.
Construction Updates
The resort will be undergoing an exterior façade painting project from June 10, 2025, through Jan. 2027. Some amenities may be closed periodically as part of this renovation. Please anticipate the presence of contractors on the exterior of the building and construction noise. Access to balconies will be needed to complete work, which will cause no availability of balconies and limited views from villas.
Cashless Resort
There is no cash available at this property, and credit cards are the only acceptable form of payment.

Service Animal Policy
Service animals that perform work or tasks are welcome at this resort, but family pets are not permitted. Bringing a pet to the resort will result in a room recovery fee. In the event we discover that you have brought a pet to the resort, you will be charged a room recovery fee in the amount of $500 per pet and you will be asked to take your pet to a local, third-party boarding facility.
Please be aware that in some locations, misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a misdemeanor and may result in a monetary penalty and/or imprisonment.

General Property Updates
Parking Information Parking fee $39 per day, one car per reservation only. Access to parking is via public parking garage with a clearance of 6'8". Parking Instruction When arriving by car, enter the BeachPlace Public Garage from Cortez Street. At the kiosk, select “Accept Rate”, then select “Get A Ticket,” take the ticket that is printed and dispensed from the machine. Do not insert your credit card in the machine. Follow the Marriott Vacation Club signs to the P4 parking garage level. When you arrive at the P4 gate, scan the ticket using the barcode scanner. The gate will open and you can park anywhere on P4 or P5. If you are arriving by taxi or private service, the driver can complete the above steps for initial entry into the garage, however, the drop off location is on the PL level (1st level) in the Taxi/Private Car area. The ticket will be valid for 15 minutes so that the driver will be able to leave without a charge. Inform the driver that they can use the same ticket to exit the garage, using the barcode scanner at the machine. The elevators to our resort are next to the taxi/car service location.
Beginning September 1st, 2025:
Packages are available for pickup in the lobby or delivery to your villa by our Safety & Security team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
All incoming packages will incur a handling fee based on the item’s weight (See below).
Package Handling Fees
0 – 5 lbs = $5.00
5.1– 10 lbs = $10.00
10.1 - 40lbs = $20.00
40.1lbs and up = $30.00
Handling fees will be applied as a room charge upon the package’s arrival if a credit card has been placed on file.
Handling fees that cannot be applied as a room charge will be due upon delivery to the recipient.
The package’s recipient must be present with valid identification at the time of delivery.
Storage: Safety & Security will store all incoming packages for 60-90 days. Unclaimed packages will be returned to the sender (where applicable) or disposed of.
Outgoing packages: For assistance with outgoing packages, please contact the Safety & Security team. Guest is responsible for shipping costs.
Durable Medical Equipment
If you or someone in your party requires durable medical equipment such as shower chairs, crutches, or toilet seat risers, please contact the property. They'll be happy to provide a list of third-party vendors who may be able to assist you.
