Great location, great place, great host.
Gigi was a really great host. The room was really spacious and kitchen was great though i didn't get to use it. This is a nice location that's somewhat central while still not being too hectic. The only problem I ran into was parking. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're planning on traveling the city by car- but totally fine if you just want to leave your car and just be mindful of street cleaning.
I took the bus one of the days I stayed here and it worked out great. I might not come again just because I like getting around the city with my car but it was otherwise really great.
I'd definetly recommend this place and had a great stay.
Thank you Ben, it was a pleasure having you here! So sorry you were not lucky with the parking, usually our neighborhood is even recommended in some city guides as easy (maybe I should say easier )parking specifically Anza st and Funston st .San Francisco parking is difficult in general but not impossible and as you mentioned the bus that stops right in front of the house takes you downtown quickly. I have had other gusts with cars and they didn't seem to have same difficulty.
Gigi and her roommate provided a welcoming spot to relax as well as a cozy bed in a large private room. They have all the amenities in house or within a few blocks in a nice neighborhood near the parks and on a major bus route.
Gigi's place is perfect to explore the city. Close to the Golden Gate Bridge, the park and public transportation. Only a few streets away from Clement Street with a lot of nice restaurants! The room is nice and big enough for 2 people. Gigi and her roommate were very friendly and easy going, helping me out with things to do in the neighbourhood, getting a taxi etc.. It’s definitely a good place to stay!
Gigi is a great host. The apartment is clean, conveniently located to transport downtown, nice area (not creepy).
I absolutely recommend it!
My friend Amanda and I stayed with Gigi for a few days of vacation in the Bay area, and she was great! The room is as advertised, sunny and spacious, and Gigi was an excellent host, making us feel right at home!
Had a great stay with Gigi in SF; I was attending an event in GGate Pk and so being able to walk there from her place made it simple. Also being able to use the kitchen was really nice.
She was warm and welcoming and communications were quickly dealt with.
I stayed with Gigi for two weeks in September while I looked for a permanent place to live. The location was very convenient (close to public transportation) and there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Gigi was great, respectful and very friendly.
I would recommend staying here.
We enjoyed our stay with Gigi. She responded quickly to our last minute request. Her place was clean and comfortable with plenty of extra blankets. The neighborhood is great, many good, inexpensive restaurants and shopping within walking distance, and the 28 bus is just out the front door. We will definitely think of her again next time we are in San Francisco.
Me and my friend stayd and Gigi's apartment for 4 amazing days. The location was great, close to all sites such as golden gate park and union squere. Parking was on the street but not hard to find and from 7pm was free. the room was nice and clean. We shared a the bathroom with her and her roomate but we didn't mind. Gigi was very helpful and kind, recommending us of places to go and even printing us tickets that we needed :) Overall we had a great stay!
