  • Suzanne and Glenn have a wonderful place in Wilkinsburg. Guests have the top floor of their renovated home all to themselves, which is spacious and feels new. They leave out a bagel and fresh fruit each morning, and there is a mini-fridge in the suite. This is a terrific AirBnB and a bargain for the price. They were even kind enough to lend me a bike helmet while I was staying. The hosts have put together a packet of all relevant information about the house and the area for guests, which is a great resource (more thorough than you might find in most hotels!). The nearby areas (Frick Park, Regent Square, Point Breeze) have a variety of fun little hangouts, and the city is readily accessible by bike or bus. It was a great stay!

  • We were only there overnight and the setup was great!

  • This was my first experience with airbnb and I have to say that Suzanne set a very high standard. The suite was just as pictured and I felt very welcome and cozy right away. I stayed for a very quick weekend trip and Suzanne made sure my stay went seamlessly.

It was pouring rain when I arrived at the airport and Suzanne offered to pick me up from the bus stop if it was still raining when I got to her neighborhood. Once I arrived she made sure I had everything I needed, even letting me use her office printer. She had prepared a binder full of information on restaurants, transportation, etc. that came in handy during my short trip. She even helped me to arrange a taxi for my departure. Even though I was the first one to leave the house in the mornings, Suzanne made sure to leave out a breakfast tray for me and fresh coffee ready to be made. I will definitely return here again on my next trip to Pittsburgh!

  • The suite was clean, temperature controllable, private, and exactly what I needed for my weekend in Pittsburgh. Suzanne was welcoming and informative. She makes great coffee, too :)

  • Suzanne and Glenn were wonderful hosts. They were very welcoming and made sure we ok, even though we didn't stay around the house too much due to our friend's wedding weekend activities. They were also courteous of our coming and going. The room is pretty much how it is described by others that have stayed there and the pictures provided. It certainly provides privacy, as you also have access to your own bathroom and a mini fridge if needed. It was nice to have a side entrance available to us, so we were less likely to disturb anyone in the main area as well or if we were coming in late. Lastly, Suzanne was great about answering any questions prior to officially booking our stay and being in contact in general, as our schedule got a little pushed back arriving to pittsburgh.

  • Suzanne and Glenn were excellent hosts. They were friendly and provided valuable information to enhance our stay in the Pittsburgh area, including recommendations for dinner, maps, directions, etc. We also got a tour of their community garden. Suzanne provided a nice breakfast (bagels, fruit, coffee.) We would recommend their private suite to adventurous travelers (remember, it's a 3rd floor walk up!) Bed was comfortable and when the weather became warm, there was a very quiet fan to keep the temperature comfortable. They also have A/C when needed.

  • We had an enjoyable 4 day stay. Very comfortable beds, nice accommodations, easy going situation. Highly recommended. A great pad for visiting the Pittsburgh area.

  • It was my first time signing up for airbnb and it was worth it! Suzanne and Glenn has the BEST bed ever. The suite was very cozy and comfortable. The portion of breakfast was perfect for just one person as they all were organic and healthy! Thank you, Suzanne and Glenn for having me staying over even just for a few hours.

About
I work from home. Since 2001 I have been a leadership coach and trainer and I work with small business owners and professionals to grow themselves and grow their businesses. I enjoy being outdoors and I spend a lot of time in our local park. Thankfully Pittsburgh has plenty of greenspace to enjoy. I also love music, dance and especially food. I love all aspects of food - growing it, cooking it, and gathering people around my table to eat it. I have two grown children and we have two grandaughters, whom we do not see nearly enough...thank goodness for (website hidden). Glenn is a politics and history officianado. He also enjoys being outdoors, dance and gardening. For work Glenn is a Physical Therapy Assistant and a Massage Therapist. He has been in the healing arts since the early 1990's. He is very civically active especially regarding local politics. We both serve on the board of directors for our community garden.
