I was completely satisfied with my stay at Susan and Kevin's home. They were comfortable people and welcoming hosts. The house had an authentic colonial charm, I passed through beautiful countryside to get there, and the town itself is a quaint and fascinating. Wish I'd had more time to explore.
This was the perfect place to stay on our weekend. Susan and Kevin were really nice and welcoming - we wish we had time to have gotten to know them more. The room was quite large and had nice natural lighting in the morning. The bed was also super comfortable. The most ideal part was how close it was to campus and town - it was an easy walk to get anywhere. I appreciated that there was shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower for guests because we had forgotten to bring our own. On a side note, this is very much a historic house - the plaque said it was built in 1750. Many of the doors and some of the brick wall looked very original. It was a pretty cool experience to stay there!
I had a wonderful time at Susan & Kevin's. Their home is right next to the Academy and is beautiful New England style.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Susan & Kevin. They made me feel welcomed from in many ways from sitting around a toasty fire in the living room to sipping hot tea and talking about Exeter and details of their historic house dating from 1750. The room was very large, clean and furnished with everything I needed including sufficient cozy comforters on the bed to ward off the cold blustery weather. Thank you Susan and Kevin! I would definitely stay there again.
This is a wonderful option for visiting Exeter! A short walk to the school, and to downtown, it is very convenient. We rented the whole house last Summer, and this time I just needed the single room. Both times the home and hosts have been warm and welcoming!
My daughter and I stayed with Susan and Kevin for two nights. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. Our hosts were welcoming and kind and made us feel at home. The house is in walking distance to downtown - so we parked our car and explored the village.
Susan and Kevin are great hosts! My Mother and I arived late but felt like we were arriving home!
