My home is as comfortable as it can be, and I am one of the most friendly, open and welcoming hosts in Santa Fe. I really do offer you a 'home sweet home' experience, while caring and respecting your privacy. Welcome home!

Interaction with Guests
Just the right amount. Depends on the temperament of my guest. I am available and open, and invisible and quiet. My place tends to attract friendly people, since that is who I am.
It's just a great neighborhood, very SAFE, and within walking distance of the Historic Santa Fe Plaza, Railyard, Dog Park, Farmer's Market, shopping, dining, dancing, nightlife. A 20 minute drive gets you up the mountain to the ASPENS and the ski basin. Access to highways, north and south. (St. Francis Dr. 84/285)

The majority of my visitors have their own transportation, AND getting here from the airport, you can take the Railrunner train or the Sandia Shuttle Express (phone number hidden)), which is a 15 minute walk from my home.
Here in Santa Fe, the Santa Fe Trails Bus Line and Capitol Cab Co. can help you get where you want to go.
And, the UBER Taxi Service has just come to Santa Fe.
Other Things to Note
Queen Kitty Lucille and her person, Russell, are here. Kitty does NOT go in the guest room, in case of allergies. FYI, she eats only raw meat, which leaves her allergen-free. Cats who eat kibble and processed canned foods have a hard time with digestion, it stresses their systems and can cause the conditions which allergy-sufferers react to.
My friends and guests who have allergies swear that they DO NOT have symptoms in my home. (See reviews from Cassandra and also from Oliver Hess). Kitty is a very kind and gracious being, and she is not used to dogs. However, if your dog is mellow, and respectful, cat-friendly and preferably small, then your good dog would be welcome.
To have a good time while they are here.
To be comfortable and respectful of the space. To be aware of water conservation and energy consumption. And to feel at home.
Grace is a very gracious host. We had a delightful time on our first Airbnb experience.
We had a great stay at Grace's house! She and Russ are very warm, inviting people. The house is in a great location with an easy walk to the city center. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. We got great recommendations for what to do and where to eat from Grace and her other guest. Highly recommended!
From the very first moment I felt at home in Grace's cosy and tasteful equipped adobe house. Grace and Russ are wonderful hosts, they are so warmhearted, kind, interested and flexible. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The house is close to the Plaza - tip for those without a car: Rent a bike :-) The only disadvantage I can think of: It's sad to leave after a couple of days!
Gracie and Russ were absolutely wonderful hosts and the home and room is exactly as described (if not even better)!
Thanks to our hosts, It was very difficult to leave Santa Fe after such a fantastic experience.
Also, Queen Kitty Lucille is the sweetest cat you will ever meet and I'm not even a cat person.
You should definitely stay here!
Gracie is a genuinely warm and enthusiastic host. Her home is peaceful, cozy and eclectic with a perfect Santa Fe vibe. I loved Gracie's positive and uplifting spirit. She even gave us a hug when we said our goodbyes!
Wonderful accommodations. Very cozy, convenient 15 minute walking path to plaza, and Grace and Russell could not have been nicer people. Their cat was also so cute and lovable. The fireplaces in the house and in our bedroom provided perfect warmth. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the bathroom was a great size. Very pretty home and we hope to return soon! I can just imagine how nice and enjoyable the outside of the home is during Santa Fe's warmer season.
It was such fun to stay with Grace in her adobe house. She and Russ were warm and welcoming. They shared their lives and e peri emcees--both very knowledgable about various complimentary healing practices. The room and bath were great. The central room of the house was so cozy with the wood burning stove. Great place to curl up with a good book on a chilly evening (and I did)
Easy walk to the plaza which is packed with intriguing shops and such. If you're a fan don't miss the Georgia O'Keefe Museum off the plaza.
Hello there, this is Grace.
I have lived in Santa Fe for 30 years and still love it here. Originally from California, I moved here in the early 80's with my one year old daughter. The mountains are my first love, and sitting by a mountain stream or sitting IN a natural hot springs pool is my idea of Heaven on Earth. At this writing, the only other place I would consider living would be Colorado. (And, of course, there's always my dream of a gas efficient RV.)
My interests are varied and simple.
'My Goods'' include good food, good company, good friends (old and new), an occasional glass of good red wine, a good movie, nature (which is all around us, here in Santa Fe), music on the plaza in the summertime, drumming and playing my flute, rainstorms and snowstorms, which I always consider 'good weather' since we are in the Southwest. I enjoy the Opera, (especially Sunday nights when the stars sing at a local piano bar), a sunset, being spontaneous, creating peace and comfort and sanctuary in my heart and in my home, organizing and feng shui (I was a professional organizer for many years), watching my daughter evolve, being an usher at The Lensic Performing Arts Center, having fun and remembering to care for our beloved planet. The simple, rich moments of life that depend only on appreciation.
That's what it's all about.
I am a certified foot Reflexologist and offer sessions in my home...

Your well-mannered GOOD DOG is welcome if he is VERY respectful of cats!
Hope to see you soon.
