My little house has two floors.
On a first floor, there is a studio massage and on a second floor there is air-conditioned apartment, where are located 2 beds (one double bed and one single) and bathroom. No kitchen, only small table with chairs, fridge and coffee machine, but no worries because few minutes from the apartment you can find shops with food and drinks, bakery and restaurants. I forgot about little balcony as well where you can seat and rest:->
From the apartment you have:
10 minutes to the closest beach
10 minutes to the bus station
5 minutes to the ferry port
5 minutes from Aci Marina/Yachting center
20 minutes by car to Split airport which is located in Kaštela
20 minutes to the train station which is located in Kaštel Stari
Important!!! This house is empty, no one is living there, so you can have your privacy.
On the physical level, the apartment looks like any other apartment that category but it has very good vibrations and energy. The most part of the people feel happy inside - I can guarantee that!
No smoking in the apartment, silence after 11 p.m. only because of the neighbours.
Nikola was the host with the most! This was my first time to Croatia and after a week sailing the Dalmatian Islands it was such a comfort to know that I had a clean, comfortable and centrally located place to stay. Nikola was incredibly hospitable. He met me at the open air market, where he assists his father and gave me all of the particulars, not only on the accommodations, but also on the must sees in Trogir. There was a complimentary bottle of wine to greet me at my digs, along with everything else necessary to have a lovely 24 hour stay.
Nikola and partner Magdalena were extremely hospitable and welcoming. Room was clean and light and perfectly located for exploring Trogir. Magdalena guided me around town and markets.
Nikola was kind to meet me and park my car as his place is not available via Apple or (website hidden) Maps. The location is great, only 25 meters or less from Trogir Bridge.
This is a great place for people on a budget. No kitchen or wash basin, or microwave. Great bed and shower in tub. Really nice inside up a few steps; like living in a place thousands of years old. Really appreciated the hot water maker so I could have my "Starbuck" paks of coffee every am. Great little pizza place at bottom of walkway with giant sandwiches for 20 Kuna. Best deal in Trogir. Nikola and his friend, Magdalena took me to return my car at airport. Later she drove me to Split across the bay. Great hospitality. HIre Magdalena for a guide. I am so glad I did as I learned so much more in the time we were together in Trogir and Split than I would have learned in weeks.
This place's charm is location and Magdalena. It is bare bones basic, yet great value for location. Don't eat at waterfront restaurants unless you want to spend double.
I went to Konoba Elf, a short walk away with fantastic food at 50% or less money, bigger portions too. Best soup I have had in a long time.
Magdalena can give you names of similar places to enjoy.
We only had a one night stay in Trogir, but we chose a nice place to stay on that night. Upon arriving by bus to Trogir, we started walking towards where the apartment is located. A young woman approached us and asked us if we were Phillip and Julianne. It was Nikola's girlfriend! She had been waiting for us to get off of the bus, she walked us to the apartment (about 7-10 min from the bus station) and made us feel very welcome. They had even left a bottle of wine and 2 glasses in our room. We asked her what was the best way to get to the airport the next morning, she offered for them to take us (for the price of a taxi). We took them up on this and Nikola was promptly at our apartment with his car at 6:30 am.
The apartment is nice, it has a fridge, a small table and more room than I would have thought. The apartment is located along a major walking route and I guess a scooter route. It was pretty noisy trying to sleep, so we shut the windows and turned on the AC. Slept great after that. The hot water works great, the only trick is to turn on the hot water switch and wait a bit for the tank to heat up (no instant hot water unless you let it heat up for a bit). The only weird thing about the apartment is the lack of a sink in the bathroom. We used the bath to brush our teeth, which was fine but not the norm for us. I guess if you were staying for multiple days this could be an issue.
The room was a very quick walk to and from the old town. The hosts were exceedingly nice and welcoming. The town itself is very charming.
As agreed on airbnb & sms we first met Nicola in the old town of Trogir. It isn't far away from the bus station to which we arrived just moments ago from the airport. (Bus #37, ~13 KN p.p.)
Our room was clean, light and with AC, table, chairs, bathroom with shower and a refrigerator very nice. We could have breakfast on the roof behind the apartment with view over the roofs of the city and mountains in the background - very lovely. At night it was possible to sleep with open windows but sometimes you would hear an airplane or a motorscooter driving by.
Nicola gave us good advice which places we could check out. With the map from the tourist info in the city centre we explored the island Chiovo mostly by feet and bus. To Split and other places in the area Trogir we got easy and cheap by bus and ferry.
Thank you alot!
Thank you both of you for nice time which we spent together. It was pleasure for us to show you our magic place in Omis. You are great jing and jang. Don't change a lot cause you are wonderful young and smart people. Be brave, keep your hearts open and keep smiling. Hope to hear from you soon. Wish you a lot of new adventures on your way.
Take care Janosch and Miriam
We can highly recommend you to everybody.
Nikola was a great host! We only stayed 1 night and it was just perfect to explore Trogir and get the local feeling!
