There is no smoking inside the house and pets are not allowed (Maggie would be jealous). We ask that guests treat our home as they would their own.
The house was very cute and the room very comfortable and clean. Todd was super nice and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He had coffee and stuff for breakfast ready to go, even when we got up at 6am:).
We were both very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.
Our first Airbnb experience ! Very comfortable bed! Very clean, well organised house! Christine and Tod are absolutely generous couple! We enjoyed our conversation with tea and food together! Such awesome 3 days in Appleton with people you have never met before and it turned out to be so blessed! Thank you Sooooo much !! Haiying/Hong/Brian
Christine and Todd were very responsive prior to our arrival! They made it very easy to locate their home and were flexible with our arrival time.
Great location to access Appleton and Neenah! Extremely friendly dog :) We appreciated having our own bathroom for use and found the room to be comfortable and spacious. No TV included, but we were only there for one night so that wasn't an issue. Being a warmer spring evening they provided us with a fan.
We will keep them in mind for future travels to the area.
We were visiting Appleton to see Lawrence College. This was the perfect location for us. Todd and Christine could not be more inviting and nice. They hooked us up with breakfast supplies and coffee. Maggie their do is adorable. They had tips on where to eat and even directed me to a perfect running trail.
This was my first time using Air BnB. It was perfect. We came and went as we pleased. We had a weird schedule with all of the college stuff. I would absolutely stay there again, if we are back in Appleton.
The house was inviting, warm, close to everything, quiet, and clean.
Todd and Christine are an absolutely lovely couple and we had an amazing time spending a night at their place! They have a beautiful home in a very pretty neighborhood of Appleton. Getting to their home was super convenient, we took a bus from Appleton Transit Center and only had to walk for 5 mins to get to their place. Our room was warm, cozy and we even had our own back entrance into the house, which is great because we ordered some pizza at 2 AM. When we were checking out the next day, Todd and Christine were nice enough to offer us some breakfast and dropped us to the Appleton downtown area in their car, so we didn't have to walk or take the bus back! Together with their dog Maggie, Todd and Christine are an exceptionally friendly family and very hospitable. We would love to come and stay with them the next time we're in town!
Our hosts were fantastic. Their house was a real classic and had great character. They provided us with free breakfast, polite and interesting conversation and an overall a great experience. It was like staying at a friends house.
About the Host, Todd And Christine
My wife and I have enjoyed welcoming more than 30 couples/individuals to stay at our home in Appleton since Fall 2013. We have travelled extensively throughout the United States and have also travelled to Ireland, England, and the Caribbean. We feel that by being frequent travellers we can understand the needs of the guests that stay with us. We enjoy biking, history, architecture, national parks, concerts/music, festivals, laid-back towns, great restaurants, going where the locals go and meeting new people. In 2013 we completed a 18 year quest by visiting all 30 Major League baseball parks. We also use Airbnb when we travel, not only to save money, but to experience new places with the people who live there.
