  • Although we did not see Todd & Chris much due to the Lawrence reunion festivities during our weekend in Appleton, our time with them was very enjoyable and they are great hosts! House and yard were very clean and organized and the breakfast was more than adequate. We walked throughout the neighborhood on several occasions and it was just like they described it...sort of like a little "Mayberry". They recommended the Farmer's market event on Saturday which we may have otherwise missed and they were willing to offer other suggestions, as well, although we were pretty well booked up for the weekend due to the reunion events.

  • Great neighborhood. Clean and neat older home with lots of character, but high-speed internet and everything you would want in a modern place. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and well appointed. Christine and Todd and were warm and welcoming and very helpful and kind. And they have a great little dog, Maggie. Great place to stay.

  • Very happy with my stay! Todd and Christine are a very nice couple. I was in Appleton for business so I didn't see a whole lot of them, but they were extremely welcoming and did their best to make me feel at home. I don't know when I'll be in Appleton again, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay with them again!

  • I enjoyed a relaxing and refreshing stay at the William's house. The welcoming couple have a beautiful house with lovely decor. The house is conveniently located to all the main attractions of Appleton. A definite recommendation.

    Thank you,

  • Todd and Christine were great hosts! They were a perfect blend of accommodating and easy going. My wife and I drove all the way from NW Arkansas to see the Packers/Viking game so we were exhausted when we arrived late Saturday night. The William's home was warm (literally and figuratively) and very charming, we felt we had all the privacy we needed in our brief stay. At the same time, Todd and Christine were very conversational and friendly; they gave us great local suggestions, specifically on how to get to the game from Appleton. (For those that care to (email hidden) called "The Bar" a few blocks away reserves seats on a party bus that leaves from the bar and brings you back after the game. $20/per person, drinks included.)

We would recommend them anytime. Our stay was very short, but the memories we made in Appleton and at the game will last forever! Sorry to sound so cheesy (pun intended). Thanks Todd & Christine!

  • I wanted to stay in more homey setting for while traveling for work instead of hotel. I felt right at home. I only wish I didn't fall asleep so quick so I could have gotten to know Christine and Todd a bit better. I would definitely stay there again.

  • We had a very short stay as we arrived late and left early. We were in town visiting Lawrence University, but it was a perfect home away from home for us. So much better than staying in a hotel. Felt like home. Todd was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome in his home. We had interesting conversations and left feeling that we had visited a friend. Our only regret was not being able to meet Christine as she was not at home during our brief visit. If Ben ends up attending Lawrence I am sure we will be back many times over the next few years.

  • Christine was fabulous! Her home is in a beautiful neighborhood near downtown Appleton. She was very accommodating - a very nice bedroom/bathroom in a gorgeous home. She even provided maps (email hidden), and helped us navigate our stay for the Fox Cities Marathon. I would definitely stay with her again, and recommend this listing to anyone!

  • Christine and Todd were wonderful hosts. I stayed in Appleton for business and had an excellent experience at their home. First, they are quite accomodating - I asked for a ride to my meeting in the morning and Christine very kindly provided. They also offered the use of a bicycle during my stay. They are very kind people and very excited to talk about their own great Airbnb experiences!

The house is extremely clean - I dare say one of the cleanest I have seen with any Airbnb. The bedroom is quite comfortable and has a nice view of the tree lined street in front of their home. Todd and Christine provided breakfast and even sent me with a few delicious vegetables from their garden!

I highly recommend that any person visiting Appleton stay with Todd and Christine. They are great hosts!

My wife and I travel extensively throughout the United States. We have also travelled to Ireland, England, and the Caribbean. We enjoy biking, history, architecture, national parks, concerts/music, festivals, laid-back towns, great restaurants, going where the locals go and meeting new people. In 2013 we completed a 18 year quest to visit all 30 major league baseball parks. We have hosted more than 20 individuals/couples at our home. We also use Airbnb when we travel, to save money and to experience new places with people who live there.
