Very easy to work with, and the place was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed using the East River Ferry instead of the Subway, because it was closer!
Great loft with bright and airy feel. The rooftop is incredible and the view over Manhattan is fantastic. Train stations within 15 minutes walk and a worthwhile walk over Williamsburg bridge.
We loved staying at this apartment. Checking in was easy, the views were spectacular and it was kitted out with everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
my stay at justin's place was fantastic. i was traveling by myself and i had plenty of space and privacy. it is a great place for solo travelers or for a couple. there is only one bed which is in a lofted space so i think it would be hard to share with a friend but it would be great for a couple. the apartment has beautiful light and views. it is in a large quiet industrial building, in a fantastic area, right on the waterfront in south williamsburg. i walked everywhere but a "citi bike" station is right outside so it is very convenient if you wanted to grab a bike and cruise through the neighborhood. also, the "L" train and "M" trains are a 15 minute walk away so easy to get into Manhattan if you need to. justin was readily available to answer my questions, i had 2 while i was there and he answered me right away. he was very pleasant and thorough in our communication during the booking process and throughout my visit. i would recommend this place and i will definitely stay here again on my next visit to New York.
We stayed at the apartment in the summer for ten days and enjoyed our stay, especially the rooftop (the view is unbelievable!) - there are a few benches and chairs so you can have a few relaxing hours up there and enjoy the view.
The apartment was big enough (especially for NYC measures) and the gigantic bookshelf was cool (amazing selection) but it was kinda shabby "chic" - a bit more shabby than chic ;) The lock of the bathroom door was broken, so you couldn't close it, the tiles on the bathroom floor were broken - the window in the livinf room was laso broken. It was no problem for us but you should know what to expect. The bed is on the top and only reachable through a steep ladder and there's no fence or something at the end of the bed, so it's definitely not for kids or older people (ladder). It also gets pretty hot up there in the summer but the ac and fan are helping a lot!
The apartment was well equipped (fan, hair dryer, umbrella, flatware, etc.) and it's located pretty much opposite to the East River Ferry station (oneway 4$ up to Midtown Manhattan,Williamsburg or down to Brooklyn Bridge or Financial District) which is very convenient. The metro station is a 15 minute walk away. There's a huge supermarket a few minutes up the road "Urban Market".
When we moved in there was a smell of gas coming from teh stove but the (very kind) neighbour fixed it, so it was okay for the rest of the time though we didn't use the stove during our stay. Justin doesn't live in NYC but he always answered very promptly, and the lovely neighbours are helping out!
We had a great stay in this open and light filled apartment. The location of the place is great and Justin was very easy and helpful with arranging the pick up of keys. I loved the style and layout of the studio and we will definitely try to stay again when we're back in NY!
Justin was a great host & very helpful. The view of the Manhattan skyline beats any other. Good location, near a supermarket and a 10min walk from a train station.
