Susie is an awesome host. We stayed at her apartment for a temporary accommodation after we got out of our apartment and before we leave NY. We had a chance to see her in person and found her very wonderful. Her apartment is the parlor floor of a beautiful brownstone which has high ceiling and beautiful decor. Every single thing in her apartment was wonderful and we were so glad we were lucky enough to spend our final days in her apartment. We would definitely like to stay there again if we have a chance and strongly recommend it to people who love old and beautiful apartments.
Susie is a wonderful host--generous, thoughtful, and responsive--and her apartment worked perfectly for us. The location is excellent with lots to do within a few minutes walk and easy access to the subway, while still a quiet corner with a comfortable residential feel to it. The apartment is comfortable as well and simply and tastefully furnished. The lighting is a bit sparse in a few areas, but that's my only complaint. The kitchen met our needs for a couple of simple homemade dinners and daily breakfast and lunch. We would definitely stay there again.
Susie was an absolute delight!
I actually reserved her home for my mother, who was visiting me for Christmas. Susie went over and above to make my mother feel comfortable, leaving fruit, tea, and danishes for her upon her arrival. My mother enjoyed the space, and was pleased--so much so that she elected to stay 4 extra days! Thankfully Susie was endlessly flexible, and allowed her to reserve the space for more time. I couldn't rave enough! It was a fantastic experience, and Susie's home is welcoming and inviting. I highly recommend it!
Susie was a wonderful host. Her hospitable welcome included muffins and juice, clear instructions for the stay and frequent communication. The apartment is lovely and very convenient to the subway, restaurants and parks. Susie was incredibly flexible and accommodating during our stay, making everything easy and enjoyable. Thank you Susie for sharing your home with us.
Lovely apartment well kept and situated close to subway, Starbucks and shopping. Susie was wonderful ,by being totally accessible by phone for some quick questions , by leaving us breakfast items and making sure our stay was very pleasant in every way. We hope to come back soon!
Susie's apartment was the perfect stay for my parents when they came to visit. She was incredibly accommodating to my requests and was super easy to get a hold of. Her place was homey and allowed for a real local experience.
About the Host, Susie
I am a career professional photographer. Photography offers continuious opportunities to identify and express creative narratives of the ordinary and extraordinary. My lens is primarily focused on still life, food, travel cultural and life style subjects. I am inspired by the joy of revealing things to others, hopefully, with an unexpected perspective. As Proust once said, “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes..”
Brooklyn has been my home for just a couple of years and I have happily landed on the best corner of Park Slope!
