Susie was an absolute delight!
I actually reserved her home for my mother, who was visiting me for Christmas. Susie went over and above to make my mother feel comfortable, leaving fruit, tea, and danishes for her upon her arrival. My mother enjoyed the space, and was pleased--so much so that she elected to stay 4 extra days! Thankfully Susie was endlessly flexible, and allowed her to reserve the space for more time. I couldn't rave enough! It was a fantastic experience, and Susie's home is welcoming and inviting. I highly recommend it!
Susie was a wonderful host. Her hospitable welcome included muffins and juice, clear instructions for the stay and frequent communication. The apartment is lovely and very convenient to the subway, restaurants and parks. Susie was incredibly flexible and accommodating during our stay, making everything easy and enjoyable. Thank you Susie for sharing your home with us.
Lovely apartment well kept and situated close to subway, Starbucks and shopping. Susie was wonderful ,by being totally accessible by phone for some quick questions , by leaving us breakfast items and making sure our stay was very pleasant in every way. We hope to come back soon!
Susie's apartment was the perfect stay for my parents when they came to visit. She was incredibly accommodating to my requests and was super easy to get a hold of. Her place was homey and allowed for a real local experience.
Susie's cozy Brooklyn nest is the perfect place to stay! It is very comfortable with all the amenities described, (internal and external) and much more. Location was perfect for visiting our NY based family and other adventures. The bed is really comfy, the sofa and big armchair inviting, the kitchen well equipped etc...all as outlined in Susie's notes. We especially loved the aesthetic and old artefacts which are so in keeping with the age of the building. Thank you Susie!
Staying at Susie's apartment was just lovely. The apartment is in a great spot -- close to the train, restaurants, and shops on 7th and 5th ave. A clean, quiet space with beautiful light throughout in a charming neighborhood. Our communication was easy and I always received a quick response. After three years of living in this neighborhood, I returned since leaving in early 2013 and felt right at home once again. Highly recommend Susie and her home to fellow travelers! Thank you Susie for a great stay!
Susie is an awesome host. The apartment was beautiful and perfectly located in Park Slope with easy access to multiple subway lines. The keys were delivered to me before my departure. Bagels, OJ and milk were waiting for me upon arrival. Bed was amazing. STRONGLY recommend Susie and her incredible apartment.
I am a career professional photographer. Photography offers continuious opportunities to identify and express creative narratives of the ordinary and extraordinary. My lens is primarily focused on still life, food, travel cultural and life style subjects. I am inspired by the joy of revealing things to others, hopefully, with an unexpected perspective. As Proust once said, “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes..”
Brooklyn has been my home for just a couple of years and I have happily landed on the best corner of Park Slope!
