An ultra convenient, cool and one-off 4 bedroom historic house, combining eclectic styling with industrial kitchen, ready to welcome your family with secure and enclosed courtyards ideal your dogs. Centrally located opposite Centennial Park, between leafy Woollahra village and bustling Oxford Street with nearby and regular bus routes.
The house is a ‘magical mix of faded grandeur and romantic opulence. Its peeling walls are testament to decades of history but, thanks to a combination of subtle colours, antique furniture and decadent lighting, the space feels calm and welcoming’.
Here I embraced the age of the building and distress of the crumbling walls whilst creating a warm, inviting atmosphere with oversized pieces of furniture and various eclectic collections. Pairing some delicate antiques alongside large grunty industrial items, this once derelict mansion in the heart of Woollahra has been transformed into a glorious bustling home.
The immediate vicinity offers beautiful boutique fashion and antique shops, cafes, restaurants and specialist delis including the exceptional ‘Chargrill Charlie’s’ favoured by the stars - all within a 4 minute walk. A wider selection of restaurants, boutique and mainstream shops can be found within a couple of minutes drive, at Bondi Junction or along Oxford Street towards Paddington, with sporting (Sydney Cricket Ground) and entertainment locations (Moore Park) also within a 5 minute drive or bus ride. In sumner the Moonlight cinema is just across the road.
And the best part is that you don’t need to leave your pets behind, as they’re very welcome too.
ACCOMMODATION – sleeps 6 people
Ground floor – drawing room, dining room, day room, kitchen, shower/bathroom.

We would love to welcome the whole family, just be aware that the house has uneven, exposed floor boards and sits over 3 levels. If you have a baby, please bring your own travel cot.
There is a garage at the rear of the house for 1 car. Other parking can be found on neighbouring streets, including Oxford Street (although it becomes a clearway between 3-7pm).
There’s no need to leave your furry friends at home alone or put into kennels, why not bring them with you? The house is flanked by 2 courtyards which are totally enclosed and dog friendly. And you can walk the dogs at Centennial Park, located directly opposite the house.

Debra was simply fantastic to deal with. We made a very last minute booking, and she got everything organise on time 'plus' she honoured all little demands I did have - which was a blessing.
The location is really good - you have everything walking distance. The kitchen has everything a cook may wish, a lovely courtyard, comfortable beds and an atmosphere that can only be remembered.
Deb has a true flair for design and the vibrancy of her house has made us feel that we were part of something that we can call: 'Best Kept Secret Mansion in Sydney'.
We stayed at this beautiful mansion for summer holidays and new year's eves. We had a very warm first contact from France with Deb who described her house very clearly. And all our expectations came true ! The house is amazing, comfortable and spacious, with a very original decoration and a and a delightful garden! The location is perfect, halfway between Bondi Beach and CBD. We met Debra: she is an interior designer, and her house looks like her: original, unconventional, warm and welcoming!
My friends and I stayed at this beautiful mansion for a weekend and all our expectations were completely blown out of the water! The space is so comfortable (and much bigger than we thought it would be) and had everything that we needed. The house has a very magical, playful feel to it and provided the perfect backdrop for our weekend together. The location is also absolutely perfect, wedged in between the city and the beach and walking distance to anything you might need (cafes, restaurants, shops, etc.). Deb was a wonderful host and provided us with everything we needed. In short this was definitely one of the best airbnb experiences I've had - would highly highly recommend!
This mansion was incredible and a perfect place to host my special dinner party. The hostess was extremely accommodating with meeting my needs when it came to check in and cheek out times and was very helpful with providing information on the house.
Probably the most unique AirBnB experience I had so far! Booked through AirBnB Business for our Eventbrite team of 4 to stay in Sydney during a trade show. It felt like staying in a movie set up. Such great ambience that we ordered all food to the house instead of going out. Great team building sharing one bathroom among 4... ;) It was a bit cold in the rooms upstairs, so bring a warm sweater and long PJs! If you need good internet connection, bring your mifi.
The host was very friendly and helpful with our stay at her very unique place. The house which was amazing is decorated with interesting antiques and situated in a very good area between the city and Bondi with good public transport.
Amazing amazing amazing!!!!! I am going to hire this place again and again. It's seriously so kool; Debra was super easy to deal with. The house was clean & FUNKY!
Yeah I think the photos of the house say it all.
