Clean, modern, comfortable and zen-like apartment with a balcony between Gough St and Hollywood Rd (Central/Sheung Wan), yet just minutes away from shops, markets, restaurants, bars and everything that is Hong Kong. This is a 4/F walk-up.
The apartment is interior decorated and well laid-out so despite the smaller size (480 sq ft), it feels nice and comfortable. There is a very good queen-size tempurpedic bed in an alcove area behind the bamboo, kitchen, living room, bathroom with large shower area and most importantly, a nice balcony that you can open up from the living room.
This apartment will be yours for the limited time it's available.
I will be in close contact but will not be staying in the same apartment, this would be solely for you to rent out on a temporary basis.
It's very convenient and right in the heart of the action of Central and Sheung Wan where all the best restaurants, bars and clubs are, yet in a quiet spot with art galleries, a wine shop and little restaurants and cafes nearby as well as other residential walk-up apartments.
You can walk anywhere in Central and Sheung Wan easily, otherwise the easiest option is to take a taxi. There are also buses or a 15 min walk to Central MTR will also get you around the city and across the water if you're exploring Kowloon.
This apartment really made my trip. Not only is it in one of the most convenient locations (close to Sheung Wan MTR, restaurants, spas, shopping, and still super quiet), but the apartment itself was so comfortable and lovely. Dena makes a good use of space so that the apartment feels like a home, but still feels like something special away-from-home.
We were able to contact Dena easily & her maid Gladys welcomed us warmly (and waited patiently for us when our taxi driver dropped us off on the wrong street :-). The apartment was well worth the affordable price.
Note to reader, I am an avid traveler and have been to Hong Kong at least 5 times. Not only is Dena's place well kept, modern, and comfy but it is next to (1 min walk) 2 of Hong Kong's award winning local restaurants Kau Kee Restaurant for the best beef brisket noodles you'll ever have and Sing Heung Yuen for very local macaroni tomato shop. I will definitely stay at Dena's place again as it was a wonderful experience.
