  • We had a great time at Plouhinec, spend 10 days there. There is a lot to discover also for our 3 children (2,4,6).
The location is really great! The housekeeper too. We had fantastic weather, would not like to spend the holidays in the house when it is cold outside.

  • The house is a really comfortable place to stay at a superb location. Nice welcome by the housekeepers, with the fireplace burning, and a bottle of local cider in the fridge.

Photos don't do the place justice, especially the exceptional location at the ocean.

    Highly recommended!

  • Had a great stay in Sue's house: perfect location right on top of the sea, close to a lovely local village. Sue was very helpful and responsive, as was the house keeper. Great size for a group retreat in peaceful Brittany.

  • We arrived at the house late, could not find it , could not get anyone on the phone, and that was the nicest thing I can say. Their were at least 20 spiders in the house, there was no way to light the fireplace the only source of heat and the house was not clean. After finding out Sue was in Bali, and chopping out own wood and cleaning the house ourselves it put a damper on the place. Sue offered a partial refund on our stay but we have yet to hear about it or have her respond to our many emails. We left a day early and I just want to say that it was a complete waste of time and money.

  • We had a wonderful 2 weeks in Sue's home in Bretagne. Our kids loved the puzzles, games on rainy days and the rope swing and large yard. We enjoyed the nearby villages, the coast walk and the sweeping view. The house itself is beachy and rustic. In our opinion the house did not measure up to the pictures. But we loved the location.

  • So pleased we chose the Beach House. Rustic, French and just as described. The water is always hot, the log fire in the kitchen is fantastic, the garden runs down towards the beach and its a perfect place to slow down and look at the sea. Perfect if you just want to get away from it all and chill and immerse yourself in relaxing. Plenty of places to visit in the locale, including restaurants, and fantastic scenery. Really enjoyed our time. Went too quick!

  • Gorgeous cottage w a fantastic view of the ocean! Complete Brittany paradise on the water. This home was 10 min from historic Audierne. There is a lovely ocean walk if you want to walk to town. I would come back anytime. The bedroom on the 2nd floor has a view to the water.

  • Well where do we start. We had the most amazing week in this beautiful very Brittany house. The photos do not do it justice, it is even better. The view from the house is outstanding. The open fire in the kitchen was lovely to sit in front of and just enjoy he ambience. The house is very well equipped if you like to cook.
The bedroom upstairs is where we stayed and the bed is to die for the best bed we have slept on since we left home 5 months ago.
Wonderful walks along the beach and the rugged coastline.
Sue was a great host even though she lives far away, always able to get her by email, never a problem. Great Internet. The house would also be fantastic if you had a family I wished that we could one day bring our family from Australia to this house.
There is a big supermarket very close by. All in all it is a wonderful house to get a real taste of Brittany. Thanks so much sue and your family. Marg and phil
