The Village House Bed & breakfast is in the historic heart of Gabian, a picturesque and rustic village surrounded by vineyards and open countryside at the foothills of the high Languedoc Natural park.
Close to Pezenas, Beziers and the Mediterranean.
John and Jean-Maurice are your Anglo-French hosts at The Village House bed & breakfast near Pezenas, in Herault, Languedoc France. We offer two comfortably furnished double bedrooms with modern en-suites and heating. The guests terrace is sunny and bright, ideal for relaxing in secluded peace and privacy. tea and coffee making facilities are available.
Private terrace with lounge chairs and dining table.
Guests breakfast room / lounge with radio/ ipod station, drinks making facilities, crockery and cutlery.
Two mountain bikes are available for use free of charge.
Our home is unsuitable for people with reduced mobility and we are unable accept guests with babies or children.
Free parking is available in the public car parks and surrounding streets. Loading and unloading is possible outside The Village House.
Regrettably we are unable to accept pets.
Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
Interaction with Guests
We live and work here and are usually around to speak with and help our guests.
With its natural spring water fountains this picturesque and lively working village with bar-café, grocers, post office, baker, newsagent, markets and pharmacy makes an ideal base for enjoying the surrounding varied landscapes. For swimming, either the local lakes, swimming pools or of course the Mediterranean.
Other Things to Note
Within easy reach are the High Languedoc Natural Park, the fine sand beaches of the Mediteranean, the historic artisan town of Pezenas and the lively and interesting cities of Beziers and Montpellier.
The region offers a wide variety of landscapes, from the Pyrenees in the west, through vineyards and the garrigue to the expanse of the mediterranean coastline. The landscape and climate make this the largest wine producing area in France.
There are many places to visit such as the Canal du Midi, the ancient ports of Sete, Meze or Marseillan, the cosmopolitan city of Montpellier, the historic city of Nimes and World Heritage site of the Pont du Gard, the fortified cities of Carcassonne or Aigues-Mortes or picturesque sites like St Guilhem le Desert.
With easy access to airports, railway and autoroutes, Gabian is the perfect location for a visit in any season.

We live and work at The Village House in Gabian and have been here for 12 years now enjoying the South of France.
We do some bed and breakfast to meet new people and enjoy welcoming guests to the Languedoc.
