If your dog enjoys the creek, please supervise them and consider the water conditions. A hose and pet towels are available on the outside deck for cleanup before heading indoors. Dog waste bags are on the laundry room shelf, with a dedicated waste bin near the outside shed.

Getting Cozy Indoors
Our decorative blankets and faux-fur throws are reserved for human guests. If your dog joins you on the leather sofa, please bring a blanket from home to protect the furniture. Cats may be considered with prior approval; please ask before booking.

Bringing Your Horse
Horse amenities include trailer turnaround parking, two covered stalls, a pipe-fenced corral and water troughs. Flicker’s Meadow and a private horse obstacle course offer additional space to enjoy your stay. Please contact us before arrival to discuss your horses’ needs and arrangements for using these areas.

Our Signature No-Chore Checkout
Enjoy your final morning without a checkout chore list. Take time for one last cup of coffee by the creek, gather your belongings and head home when you’re ready to check out. We’ll take care of the cleaning.

Guest access
Your reservation includes exclusive access to the entire cabin, the expansive main deck, and the private upstairs balcony. You are also invited to unplug and explore the designated guest areas across our 5+ acre sanctuary. Take a short stroll down below the house to enjoy our private creekside gazebo, or visit the beautiful bridge and viewing area at Sheridan Creek.

The owner's private residence is located on an adjacent property behind a private gate, ensuring your retreat space remains completely uninterrupted and peaceful.

Bringing your horses?
We would love to host them. Just send us a quick note before your stay, and we will have the rustic stable, tie-out spaces, and easy-turnaround trailer parking fully prepared for your arrival.

Other things to note
Owner Co-host lives nearby (adjacent property): Barb lives on an adjacent property. You’ll have your own guest areas and privacy, with help nearby if needed.

5+ acres, private-feeling setting: Set on 5+ acres for a private-feeling stay with room to roam.

Creek & outdoors: Sheridan Creek and the bridge/viewing area are special features—please supervise children and pets near the creek and use care on uneven ground.

Horse stays are optional: Just let Marcie know in advance so everything is ready. 2 covered stalls with paddocks are available, and we have maps/info for day riding in or near Lassen and the Sacramento River Bend (Red Bluff).

Exploring the Grounds
Enjoy peaceful, easy walking trails right on our 5+ acre property—a perfect way to unplug and take in the natural beauty of Inwood Valley.

Technology & Connectivity
Stay seamlessly connected with high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi. Because our secluded valley location offers a true escape from everyday distractions, traditional cell reception naturally fades away out here. However, our Starlink perfectly supports Wi-Fi calling, ensuring you have crystal-clear communication whenever you need it. The living area also features a Smart TV, so feel free to log into your favorite streaming apps for a cozy movie night. Just remember to log out before you head home.

Curated Ambiance & Comforts
In the colder months, enjoy unlimited complimentary wood for the cozy fireplace insert, and start every morning right with our fully stocked Keurig and tea station. For a warm evening glow, we have provided remote-controlled flameless candles throughout the cabin. (Please just use the provided remotes, as real matches or lighters will melt them!)

Dog-Friendly Details
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome up to 2 dogs with no pet fees! (Traveling with a third small sidekick? Just send us a quick message—we love dogs and are always happy to consider a third smaller pup.) Because we share this beautiful setting with local wildlife and resident horses, we simply ask that your pups stay leashed while exploring outdoors. For their own comfort and safety, please bring them along on your adventures rather than leaving them unattended at the cabin, and we so appreciate your help keeping those happy paws off the indoor furniture. You will find complimentary waste bags conveniently located in the laundry room for easy clean-up.

A Fresh, Smoke-Free Environment
To protect our beautiful forested surroundings, resident animals, and the pristine condition of the cabin, we kindly ask that you enjoy a completely smoke-free and vape-free stay, both indoors and out. Thank you so much for helping us preserve this special mountain environment!
