About this listing
Quiet upstairs suite includes a bedroom with queen bed, (line dried cotton sheets) and work desk. Adjacent is a private limestone bathroom and also a comfy den with flat screen TV equipped with Roku box. You're welcome to use our kitchen downstairs. Free Wi-Fi is provided.
Our backyard features plum, lemon, fig and persimmon trees in season as well as a summer-season fire-pit. We have a chicken coop with four hens so you will have fresh eggs available each day. Two adult beach cruisers are available for your riding pleasure. There are some boogie boards also to take with you to the water.
It is a no smoking house.
There's plenty of street parking.
We've had several inquiries about having dogs visit. We love dogs, but sadly our Blue Healer is very territorial, so we do not encourage other canines to stay.
One more thing-We have a tenant in a studio apartment up front. It's very separate, only sharing a wall with the laundry room. It has its own yard and entrance. But just to know, if you DO hear anything, yes, there is another apartment adjacent to the house.
Our lovely home is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach and the West Cliff bike path. We are on the dynamic west side of Santa Cruz. It's only 1 block to Kelley's French Bakery, the Parish Pub,The West End Tap, Santa Cruz Mountain Brewery, Bantam Restaurant, Companion Bakery, New Leaf Community Market, Bonny Doon Vineyards Tasting Room, the fabulous Santa Cruz Yoga Studio, charming boutiques, and so much more. World famous surf spot, Steamer Lane, is a ten minute bike ride away. Also be sure to check out our fantastic Saturday farmer's market just a few blocks away. It's a wonderful neighborhood.
Other Things to Note
Due to the ongoing drought, I have a two night minimum. (Laundry)
This is a no- smoking house. We have early morning jobs, and request that you enter somewhat quietly at night, Once you are in the upstairs suite- it's quite separate and we can't hear you.
Currently, California is in the midst of a severe drought. We ask that you conserve water as much as you are able.
Please leave the house as you found it,and all dishes in the dishwasher. Thank you!
