We were looking for a place to shoot some of our quilts, and looking for a clean, neutral style. Barbara was very accommodating, and made our stay very welcoming. Her house is very nice, and from what I can tell, the beds are super comfortable! Thanks again for the great hospitality, even as short as ours was. ;)
Wonderful people. The room was VERY clean and comfortable. Good size for the price. Highly recommend this airbnb to anyone.
Amazingly friendly family that invited us to have dinner with them on many nights. Their warm generosity is un-matched by any other airbnb that I have visited.
We will be returning when ever we come into Portland.
Thank you so much!!
Barbara and Gary were super nice and welcoming. We arrived at midnight and Barbara was very accommodating and helpful. The house is extremely clean and has the cutest kitchen! Gary even lent one of us his hiking boots because we didn't have the appropriate shoes for the slippery hikes. Overall I would definitely recommend Barbara's place!
We had a wonderful stay in Portland. Barbara and her family are very nice host and they made sure that we had a very enjoyable stay. The communication with Barbara, before and during our stay, was easy and she responded it very quickly. We arrived very late on our check-in day and Barbara was kind enough to wait for us and show us the house. She made cookies and popcorn as a welcome gift to us! Barbara’s house is so beautiful, big, clean and organized; we stayed in the room on the second floor with an adjacent bathroom and everything was perfect: the bedroom has a walk in closet, the bed is very comfy, and the bathroom has a very nice shower (with Pacifica body soap) with double sink. Barbara house is in a very quiet/green neighbourhood and about 15 minutes driving to downtown Portland. We definitely recommend Barbara’s place, it is better than any hotel and we will for sure stay there again in our next visit to Portland!
I had a phenomenal stay in Portland with Barbara and her husband Gary. Their home is gorgeous, spacious, and comfortable, and they were incredibly warm and welcoming. I was greeted with fresh towels, magazines, maps of portland, and even homemade shortbread. They were happy to have me utilize the state of the art kitchen as often as I wanted, and even welcomed me to help myself to breakfast from the fridge. My stay took place over Thanksgiving, and they kindly invited me to join them for the holiday, where I got to meet their lovely, vivacious family. They also invited me to have dinner with them several other nights, and they were great company (and great cooks!). They really went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience. I felt like a member of the family during my time there. I can't recommend a stay at their house highly enough!
