About This Listing
We have a room in the coolest part of BCN for short stays. The room is quiet and has a view onto our balcony.
People who share our interests will get the most out of the stay: food, drink, markets, music and making the most of local businesses.
We have a single room with double bed in our lovely flat in the centre of Barcelona's hippest area, El Raval.
The flat has a great central location, from which you can visit a lot of cool places on foot (two minutes walk from MACBA or CCCB, five from las Ramblas, Pl. Catalunya, the main shopping areas and the Boqueria Market, local food shops, vintage shops, art galleries, and so on.
The building is also very well connected, with the 4 main metro lines (L1, L2, L3), bus stops, the bus stop to the airport and also a taxi stand just 3 mins away.
The room we are renting is a quiet single room with double bed and a window to our balcony, so it's pretty bright. You'll be sleeping in a brand new, comfy and enormous double bed.
The flat would be shared with me, a Catalan girl in her thirties, my boyfriend Mark, English, 32 and my three lovely and friendly cats.
We provide our guests with bedclothes, towels, keys, English tourist guides and top recommendations from a local who likes good and cheap restaurants, wine bars, local beers, cool places, cultural events, fashion, flea markets, hidden places to discover, etc.
We have lots of experience in hosting guests so we can also send you references or you can see the amazing reviews we have!
Please, feel free to ask me anything else you need to know, I'll try to get back to you!
Please, we are very flexible with check-in hours, but we are busy people and we also like enjoying what our lovely city offers. It will help A LOT if you could provide us your arrival time so we will be able to organise our day.
We like Airbnb users with a profile picture and some verifications, we'll be happy to give you any information about us but, please, collaborate with the community and upload a brief information about you in your profile!
* The flat is on the top floor and there's no lift, I'm afraid.
** Please, read the 'House Rules' before you book!

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment but you can smoke on the balcony.
(Natalia smokes :( but Mark doesn't)
This is a place for cat lovers. We have 3 cats and we are happy most of our guests loved them! If you're allergic or if cats aren't your fav animals, this is not the place where you should stay. If you're booking this room for friends, please, let them know!

Keep the keys in a safe place, in case you loose them we will charge 50€ from the deposit.
Enjoy Barcelona and welcome!
Our stay at Natalia's new apt. was a major factor in making our Barca trip perfect. Excellently located in the most vibrant quarter of the city, and less than 10 mins away from that hub of trains and metros, Pl. Catalunya, and 3 mins away from Las Ramblas, it allowed us to walk to most everywhere
Wonderful authentic restaurants and cafes reared their fragrant heads just around the corner.
The apt. was bright, airy, comfortable and marinated in art. We felt for a few days like we actually lived and breathed Barcelona instead of the canned anonymous generic atmosphere of a Hotel. This, in itself was a cultural experience and priceless.
Natalia was a wonderful hostess, always ready to help, a fearless source of real info and insight and lavishing care on us as if we were family. Much appreciated...
Great place, cozy and cute. The location is also good. Natalia and mark are both nice. Highly recommend this place!
We had a great time. The location is awesome, with lots of good bars and restaurants nearby. There is almost no city noise in the room, however. The bed is a lot bigger than on the pictures, more than big enough for two. The bathroom is comfortable. Mark gave us some good nightlife tips. All in all, highly recommended!
Perfect days in Barcelona!
It was great to stay with Natalia and Mark. The flat is really close to the Center. They told me some cool stuff which was not available at the typical Tourist sites.
I am looking forward to visit Barcelona, Natalia and Mark (website hidden): The cats are so sweet!
A lovely place to stay. It is near L2, L3 and lots of bus stations. A quiet and safe area. Mark and Natalia are nice and friendly. We love the cats so much as well. We slept very well during these five nights.
Only comment we will make is about the shower, sometime it is not hot enough if we showered in sequence.
I will recommend Mark and Natalia's place to ppl who look for place to stay in Barcelona. Great host, great location and sweet cats!
Thank You for the nice stay in your cozy home and hospitality! We will come again ;-)
I had a fantastic stay at Mark and Natalia's flat. The location is perfect, an easy walk to many of Barcelona's iconic neighborhood's...and with many local bars, cafés, and markets all around. Both Mark and Natalia were prompt in responding to emails, and gave me great tips on local eateries. I would easily recommend this stay to my friends. Thanks for everything!
