A top-notch Durango AirBNB, with excellent location, amenities, and price. Private bedroom and bath, and spacious shared living room and kitchen, in a beautiful remodeled home. Walk to downtown, the train, trails, and the riverwalk in minutes!
I have a great remodeled home in a quiet neighborhood where you can walk to historic downtown Durango in minutes! Guests have a private bedroom on the first floor with a a full sized bed, walk in closet (great for bikes and skis!), and of course fresh linens and towels. Guests enjoy a private bathroom, laundry facilities, full kitchen and spacious living room (shared), a propane grill, and a hot tub which is always clean and hot! The house is bright, spacious, clean, and comfortable, and is a great place to relax after a day of work or play in the Four Corners. I love my home here in Durango, and I would be happy to share my space with you and make your stay as extraordinary as possible.
Guests will have access to everything on the first floor which includes the private bedroom (closest room to the front door) and bathroom, laundry room, full kitchen and living room (shared), hot tub, and propane grill. Parking is available on the opposite side of the street.
Interaction with Guests
I tend to interact with my guests mainly in the evenings or weekends if our schedules overlap. I pride myself in giving my guests as much privacy as they prefer, but I also do everything I can to help them settle in, and answer any questions about the home or the Durango area.
The house is four blocks southeast of Historic Downtown Durango, which means you can walk to the Historic Narrow Gauge Train, the Animas River Walk, and all of the restaurants, shops, galleries, and parks that make this town so fantastic! There are also many hiking and biking trails right down the street.
There is a local public transit stop right outside of our home. A schedule of stop times and locations is available in the room. Private transportation is available from the airport for a reasonable price - just ask and I can provide info about that. Plenty of parking is available, but I ask that guests park on the opposite side of the street, as it is a small driveway and I have neighbors that come and go often.
Other Things to Note
I ask that guests please provide a complete profile when requesting a reservation, ideally with a photo, verifications (phone, email, and/or social media), and a bit of info about yourself. One final thing to note: I have two very friendly cats. They do NOT go into the guest bedroom and I am happy to discuss options for guests with traveling pet partners.

The house will be available for check-in anytime from 6:00 PM on, unless arrangements are made to check in earlier, which I can accomodate in some cases.
The house is only to be used by those who are renting the room, please no parties or bringing people back to the house overnight. However, feel free to have guests visit during the day as long as I am informed beforehand.
Smoking is allowed outside only.
I am more than happy to provide additional sheets, blankets, and towels on request, but laundry will only be done every three nights unless greatly needed.
Guests are asked to provide their own food and drinks, but I am happy to provide coffee and tea. Durango's tap water is excellent, so most guests don't bother with bottled water. :-)
I ask that unless you are staying through the following night that check out is at noon.
