My husband and I were in town to visit our student son. We had a wonderful weekend at Jeff and Jocelyn's perfect guest house. Just as others have stated, it's clean, comfortable, cute, private and well-stocked. The bed is especially comfortable, with quality linens. We had rainy weather and a busy, event-filled weekend, so we did not use the outdoor space, but it is lovely to gaze upon. The food and drinks came in handy, as we arrived with no groceries! This is our fourth Athens airbnb, and it's a good one!
Upside: The house was very clean. Bed was real comfortable. Was close to where I needed to go.
Downside: No TV. WIFI was a little weak and could not get a signal one night. Had baby ice trays-not enough ice.
Thanks, Doug, for the tip on the ice - we'll find some more trays. We would have liked to have known about the WiFi issue - we would have happily reset the modem. We try to make it clear in the listing that the house does not have a TV.
Hope you'll stay with us again.

We liked this place so much we started debating whether we could claim squatters' rights and never leave. It's a perfect, cosy, self-contained place in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood - there are a few hills between the house and Athens, so anyone with mobility problems may not fancy the walk, but it's really not far. Jeff and Jocelyn were superb hosts - one of the very few to contact us ahead of our visit and make us feel welcome. And there was even a six-pack of local craft beer waiting for us on our arrival! This was one of our best Airbnb experiences yet.
Two girlfriends and I stayed here this past weekend while in town for another friend's daughter's wedding. This little bungalow is so comfortable and well appointed. Jeff and Jocelyn were attentive without being intrusive. We will stay here again!
Thank you so very much for a truly comfy weekend!!!
Everything was fantastic. Very cool carriage house close to downtown. We walked into town during the day and took an uber at night.
Jeff and Jocelyn are the most gracious hosts. First of all the cottage is adorable - cozy, quiet, and clean as a whistle, really brand new and so comfortable. They have everything you need for a visit to Athens. The bed is extra comfortable and the down pillows were so nice. Jeff and Jocelyn even left us fresh fruit, wine and breakfast goodies - so sweet!! Will definitely stay again on our next visit.
My husband and I stayed in this sweet cottage 'retreat' on a visit to see family in Athens. We usually stay in a hotel, but wanted something different. This was perfect - comfy bed, nice kitchen area, great shower and nice yard with a picnic table. No TV was a plus for us. Wi-fi connection available. I felt as though I was in a quiet spa on retreat! Jeff and Jocelyn are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed their flexibility and kindness. As other reviewers stated, we were greeted with snacks that made us feel welcome and refreshed after a long drive.
This is definitely first on my list for Airbnbs in Athens and hope to stay here many times in the future.
