The only thing better than the apartment (which was very nice and clean), is Jeff and Jocelyn, who are excellent hosts and lovely people.
It was the best possible Athens experience, the home is neat and well appointed. The hosts were both friendly and generous. The walk to town was a little long for us but Uber rides were affordable and fast.
Everything was just as described by Jeff and Jocelyn. The house is very sweet and comfortable. Jeff was more than helpful. Sorry Dan ate almost all of the snacks.
My friend and I had the pleasure of staying in Jeff and Jocelyn's backyard cottage during our recent trip to Athens for the Indie South Fair. It was so peaceful, comfortable, and an easy walk to downtown. Jeff and Jocelyn were wonderful hosts and we can't wait to come back!
My husband and I were in town to visit our student son. We had a wonderful weekend at Jeff and Jocelyn's perfect guest house. Just as others have stated, it's clean, comfortable, cute, private and well-stocked. The bed is especially comfortable, with quality linens. We had rainy weather and a busy, event-filled weekend, so we did not use the outdoor space, but it is lovely to gaze upon. The food and drinks came in handy, as we arrived with no groceries! This is our fourth Athens airbnb, and it's a good one!
Upside: The house was very clean. Bed was real comfortable. Was close to where I needed to go.
Downside: No TV. WIFI was a little weak and could not get a signal one night. Had baby ice trays-not enough ice.
Thanks, Doug, for the tip on the ice - we'll find some more trays. We would have liked to have known about the WiFi issue - we would have happily reset the modem. We try to make it clear in the listing that the house does not have a TV.
Hope you'll stay with us again.

We liked this place so much we started debating whether we could claim squatters' rights and never leave. It's a perfect, cosy, self-contained place in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood - there are a few hills between the house and Athens, so anyone with mobility problems may not fancy the walk, but it's really not far. Jeff and Jocelyn were superb hosts - one of the very few to contact us ahead of our visit and make us feel welcome. And there was even a six-pack of local craft beer waiting for us on our arrival! This was one of our best Airbnb experiences yet.
