Across the freeway, walk to Farmer’s Market on weekends. Take 14 Mission bus towards Daly City where you will find Filipino, Chinese, Latin, German restaurants and a hamburger joint in the same neighborhood.
Couch with pull out bed
Couch is in the upstairs living room and you have access to shared bathroom. Also available are fresh comforter, sheets, and towels.
Ethnic Diversity – An Adventure
Venture from the house and walk 1.5 blocks to take 14 Mission, a bus line, that travels from one end of San Francisco, from the borders of Daly City, into the midst of vibrant Mission District with its summertime Carnival Fairs, edgy museums, bohemian culture and electrifying vibes, and to the last embarkation in Embarcadero which kisses the waters of the San Francisco Bay and is the heart of downtown San Francisco. Take the adventurous ride on this famous bus line and visit various S.F. districts en route. Or, walk four blocks to Glen Park Bart station and take the Bart lines that travel to SF International airport and within the City as well as various Bay Area cities, locations and destinations.
House - Experience immersion in San Francisco everyday life.
The house is shabby-chic and conveniently located near the Mission, Excelsior, and Glen Park—all within walking distance from the house. It is very close to transportation, freeways and major thoroughfares.
Additionally, there are downstairs bedrooms occupied by long term tenants.

Great place and Maria is a great host. The roomies are also awesome. The house is easily accessible from downtown because the BART station is near from there.
Maria is a great host! The housemates are all quiet and respectful and the BART station is a short walk away. Strongly recommended!
Great place! Very convinient in terms of transport, close to orient market, clean room, nice and very helpful host. I've already recommended this place to my friend.
Maria was a great host. I didn't sleep well on my 1st night because of the noise since I was in the entrance hall. Maria was nice and immediately offered me an other spot.
Often a lot of people in the house, which is great is to meet some people and have a talk.
Not sure what to review since the original booking was changed, and I can find neither that nor the accommodation I stayed in. What I can say is that you will be staying in a hostel-like setting at a very good price close to several key transit routes. If you are price-driven, flexible, sociable, and want to mix with a diverse group of people, then check out any of Maria`s listings.
Awesome stay for sure! Comfy and clean bed, really nice housemates, and convenient location for public transit & food. Wish I could actually stay longer and would definitely recommend Maria's places.
The best deal you will find in San Francisco. Maria is a very nice person who is on top of her things. All the other guests were very friendly as well.
Maria is so kind and warm. I felt at home right away. She really goes out of her way to make sure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. The house was very accommodating overall, and I met a lot of really cool people. I would definitely recommend this place.
Maria is a lovely host.
Even though I booked last minute, Maria was very kind, and helped me find the address when I called her. There were other people staying in the house, but it wasn't crowded at all. The interior of the house was actually much larger than my assumption based on first glance of the exterior. The house is very close to a BART station, but for my situation it was a little too far from where I was commuting every day (Santa Clara), so I had to check out early.
