Lovely little cabin, nestled in the mountains. We came during the slow season, but it couldn't have been a more perfect time for us. The scenery was beautiful and the location was a relaxing environment. Patty had the cabin all clean for us along with suggestions of places to eat and shop once we arrived. It was just the right size for 2 guests and we really enjoyed warming up by the fire as well as relaxing in the jacuzzi tub. All in all, it was a great impromptu vacation. I would def recommend it to friends and family and hope we can return for a visit in the future.
The Cabin was so nice and quiet! It was exactly what we expected and Patty was really nice and helpful! I will definitely recommend this to someone who is looking to visit Helen.
Patty was wonderful! She made us feel welcome and was quick to respond when we contacted her. The listing description was very accurate! The pictures prepared us for exactly what to expect. The cabin was located on a quiet hill and was well stocked for all of our needs.
We enjoyed our stay at the Cabin! It was nice place to stay for a quick-weekend getaway. The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable; just as what we expected looking at the pictures. The cabin is in a very quiet location which made it easy to relax and unwind.
Patty was very helpful communicated all the important details ahead of time including exact driving directions.
The cabin is only about 5-6 miles away from downtown Helen and is very close to Unicoi State Park/Anna Ruby Falls which was very convenient.
The cabin was great. Patty made such a great effort to make sure it felt like a weekend away from everything. She was also really responsive when we contacted her with questions about the cabin.
We really loved the private patio with the screen where we could just enjoy time relaxing outside. We had no 4G (we each had Verizon and Tmobile) which was a plus since we were able to ignore our emails, but just a consideration. The hot tub was a plus! We had an amazing experience and really recommend the cabin for a romantic weekend.
Helen, GA is really close by and an awesome place to visit. Same goes for Anna Ruby falls.
Oh, it was so much fun! Patty gives specific directions that are very easy to follow. The cabin is adorable and very clean. It even comes with upgraded appliances and a heart shaped tub! I didn't use it because I spent my time here with my sister, but it certainly was something I hadn't seen before. The cabin is very close to lots of good hiking spots. That's basically all we did. We even hiked part of the Appalachian Trail! Patty is very hospitable. You are welcome to all things in the cabin if you are kind and help clean up a bit. It is just down the street from downtown Helen which is a cute and historical looking town. Lots of German restaurants and things to see! Who knows? I might even return. It was a lot of fun and Patty is wonderful.

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the Chattahoochee River, this Northeast Georgia village has a rich history linked to the Cherokee Indians and Indian burial mounds as well as early settlers who arrived to mine for gold and cut virgin timber for a thriving lumber industry in the early 1900s. Helen is a re-creation of an alpine village complete with cobblestone alleys and old-world towers. We've got shopping, camping, both rustic and luxury mountain cabins, restaurants, theater, recreation, romantic getaways, beautiful scenery, family activities, waterfalls, museums, history, art, fishing, tubing, golf, and more. Something for every member of the family.
Festivals and special events include a hot air balloon race, Winefest, Volksmarch, Oktoberfest and Christmas parades, Fourth of July fireworks, and Bavarian Nights of Summer. From mid-September through October, Helen hosts the longest Oktoberfest in the South. Alpenfest offers entertainment during the Holiday season from Thanksgiving through December.
