COZY COTTAGE in SOUTHERN INDIANA is 30 miles from LOUISVILLE Ky. 14 miles to SALEM SPEEDWAY, 10 miles to HUBERS WINERY. Enjoy 20 PRIVATE acres of HIKING TRAILS and 2 CREEKS. The 1½ story 1440 sq. ft. ENTIRE HOME has a detached garage, open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen, FIREPIT ( firewood inc.) and bright Sunroom! Adjustable bed and reclining loveseat. Located within a short drive are several STATE PARKS such as Spring Mill with a great Pioneer Village and working Grist Mill and Guss Grissom Museum, Starve Hollow, Hardy Lake and Deems Lake. All offer swimming, fishing and most offer boating. Also located in Salem is Historic Becks Mill, John Hay Museum and Pioneer Village, Delaney Park and Western Hills Golf Course. The Knobstone trail is nearby for hiking. In the fall a local favorite Old Settlers Days might peek your interest.

This fully furnished home offers:

-Comfortable Queen size bed with adjustable mattress with remote control is in the master bedroom on the main level. A modern ceiling fan, window seat, 2 closets and smart TV are added amenities. It also walks out on to a private newly built covered 10 x 24 deck with built in lighting for entertaining and patio furniture.
-In the newly remodeled upstairs you will find two twin size beds, a large closet, smart tv, dedicated work space area and 2 window escape ladders for your safety.
-Full kitchen includes cookware, dishes, blender, toaster, microwave, air fryer, blender and other small appliances. A full coffee bar with Keurig and Mr. Coffee coffee pot.
-1 full size bathroom with needed essentials provided such as shampoo/conditioner/body wash and a stand up shower with seat.
-Washer and dryer included for your convenience. Detergent pods provided.
-High-speed Wi-Fi for remote work and a dedicated work space both upstairs and downstairs.
-Covered 10 x 24 back deck with patio furniture overlooking the backyard to watch wildlife.
-Covered 7 x 24 front porch will keep you dry while at the front door entrance.
-Central heat and central air conditioning
-Self check in with Smart Lock keyless entry with unique code per guest.
-Fire pit area. Firewood and roasting sticks are provided.

Guest access
The entire main level and upstairs is for the guests use.
The detached garage beside the home is for guest use. The basement (outside entry only) and garage behind the house are for the host use.

Other things to note
-Hiking trails are open most days. There is a sign at the trail head that will say open or closed. They possibly could be closed due to weather, downed trees or hunting season. Hunting season is from Oct. 1st through Jan. 1st. Please message me before renting to check if trails are open. Enter at your own risk.. No ATV’s or HUNTING is allowed. The HOST is not responsible for accidents. PLEASE BRING WADING or RUBBER BOOTS TO CROSS THE 2 CREEKS.
