My first AirBnb so I am still trying to figure out what is normal.
- Great location.
- BIG closets.
- Owner communicated quickly a majority of the time.
- Provided a late checkout for our late flight!
Unfortunately, we just didn't have much luck with this place.
- Had to request sheets for the couch/beds. Came the 2nd night.
- Lightbulb in a huge lighting fixture went out in the bathroom. We couldn't replace it, so we asked and it wasn't fixed the rest of our stay (7 days) Instead a lamp was given to us 3 days later. We were using flashlights to go to the (email hidden)ry inconvenient.
- The sink in the bathroom leaked the whole time - 8 days - and it was never fixed :( The floor in the bathroom was always wet. We offered to fix it starting day 1 and were told some one would come. We requested 4 times and no one told us to get it fixed ourselves or came to fix it. Very inconvenient.
- 3 or 4 other lightbulbs are out in the house so it's really dim.. we just moved the lamp from the living room to the bathroom at night...
- No TP . We just purchased ourselves.
- Ants in the bathtub.
- Killed 3 cockroaches, but that is normal of SoCal in hot weather I think?
Overall, I'm really bummed it went this way. After reading other reviews on this house I see some consistent problems - lights, leaking, etc. Angie is nice, but this house was far from convenient for our group. It was just one problem after another and none of them were fixed fully. For my first AirBnB and $1453 and a 8 days stay - I really really wish we had a better experience! Hopefully, it will get better especially b/c the location is great.
my wife and two daughters lived frightened during our entire stay. Cockroaches were in the bathroom, bedrooms and laundry room. Angie was overseas. I called her and sent her messages to her mobile with no answers. I told our neighbor (The pregnant woman) and she said she does not have cockroaches.
I took them to my friends house on Hauser to sleep there. When taking a shower, the above apartment leaks down to our bathtub (disgusting). The plummer came by to fix and then it started to leak again.
Not worth the money paid as we were always worried to get wet from the dirty bath leaks from above and from cockroaches crawling on us while sleeping.
Budget did not allow us to go to a hotel of find another place. To make my self clear, the place is awesome and is in a great location, but only requires little maintenance so guests feel comfortable. I believe we should get a compensation of some sort for all the inconvenience which we faced there.
We also woke up every time the tenants above moved.
Screens had holes and could not open the windows.
Angie was very helpful and responded very quickly to all questions. Her place was as described and very large for our needs. Organic market right down the road, The grove mall and a good variety of eats made this a very nice stay. The washer broke while we were there, but Angie was able to coordinate and allow us to use the adjacent machine on the grounds.
Very spacious apartment in excellent location, nice neighborhood. Very clean, but furnishings were sparse and not at all as depicted in the photos; outdoor landscaping was in need of grooming/maintenance; and other guests/residents in the building were not respectful of quiet hours. Also, washer/dryer did not work properly.
The set up and everything was awesome! The house was in a nice neighbourhood. Made for a nice morning walk to the Starbucks - Farmers Market. Trader Joe's is also walking distance. The place was very safe. Much bigger than we expected. Bathroom was (website hidden), Wifi, Parking, fully equipped kitchen...Everything you could want/need in LA at a great price! Thanks Angie!
My employees stayed at Angie's place for a work trip and had a easy, no-fuss stay. Recommended and we'd book again.
Ei ollut mitään erityistä, joka olisi saanut meidät tuntemaan olemme kotoisaksi
