About This Listing
My house has one spacious double room available for B&B with a comfortable king-sized bed, a small fridge and tea making facilities. Guests will have use of their own private bathroom with towels provided. Downstairs there is also a private sitting room available. Accomodation includes a continental breakfast.
Laghtagoona estate is just a 5 min walk from the picturesque village of Corofin. The village is ideally placed on the edge of the Burren and within walking distance of Inchiquin lake. Corofin is approximately 20 mins by car from the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin and Ballyvaughan.
There is no smoking in the house. There is also no cooking, however, the local pubs provide hot meals. Leaving boots off at the bottom of stairs appreciated. Apart from that relax and enjoy your stay!
Veronica has a beautiful home, provided a wonderful breakfast with home baked bread, and made us feel very welcome. A lovely place to stay while visiting the Burren and the sun came out showing it in all its glory. Thanks
Our stay at Veronica's was ok for one night. We had limited interaction with her, and she left us a choice of breakfast items on the counter to which we could help ourselves. Had to drive back to Ennis for dinner as we found out little was open in Corofin on a Monday night after we got to the house.
Veronica"s house in County Clare, Corofin was the perfect location for us. She is a very gracious, kind and helpful host. The room was wonderful, warm and beautifully decorated. It really made us feel at home. Her dog and two cats were also friendly little creatures. Veronica was helpful with some ideas, served us a hearty breakfast and made our stay very pleasant indeed.
We would recommend her place to anyone. If you get a chance, check out the little restaurant/bar that is within walking distance called Bofey Quinns. It serves up a true local atmosphere with food, drinks and people.
Ireland stole our heart! And Veronica's neighborhood was the perfect quiet, scenic, and quaint experience that we went in for. We would do it again! Thank you. :)
I was very happy with the accommodation lovely and clean, Veronica was very helpful and accommodating at all times!
About the Host, Veronica
I like living in the country-side, great for walking the dog! I have two cats and a black, medium sized poodle. My favourite places to visit would be Austria and Madeira. I enjoy reading, dancing, theatre and T.V. I also enjoy cooking and if you stay with me you can try some of my special home-made bread!
