The space
Have a stay in my lovely modern guesthouse ( where once stood my not so lovely nor modern garage ). It was newly built and furnished with your comfort and pleasure in mind. At 700 square feet, the two-story architecturally impressive 1-bedroom loft guesthouse is ideal for couples, business travelers, solo adventurers, and small families wanting close-in five-star accommodations while visiting Portland.

Bedroom: open to living area below creating a wonderful sense of space and volume, and a dreamy treehouse effect; king-size mattress and Parachute sheets.

Bathroom: walk-in rain shower with skylight, heated floors, and in-ceiling speaker for listening while showering! luxurious robes provided to make your sauna/hot tub experience a cozy one.

Great Room: opens via southern facing sliding glass doors to a private backyard surrounded by bamboo in which you can freely lounge. DWR sleeper sofa.

Kitchen: well stocked with amenities such as a Stagg Electric Kettle, Kinto Coffee Carafe Set, cookware, etc.

Neighborhood highlights

Alameda-Beaumont is a very desirable neighborhood in Portland. Well-established, safe and quiet it's comprised of a wonderful mix of well-cared for homes from the 1900's to the present. Alameda Street ( a stones throw away ) is one of the most beautiful tree-lined streets in all of Portland. Wide and winding with architecturally significant houses on either side it's a destination route for cyclists, runners, and strollers alike. With neighborhood places to eat/drink within easy walking distance on Fremont ( Wonderly, Happy Day Juice Co., Grand Central Bakery... ) and Sandy ( Case Study Coffee, Cabezon... ) and being conveniently located to the airport, downtown and the many close-in shopping districts ( Alberta Arts, Mississippi... ) I think you'll find Loft House PDX to be the perfect launching pad for all things Portland.
