Terkel was a great host! Although we didn't see him much due to our busy schedule and short amount of time, we knew he was always at the other end of the phone if needed. He also didn't mind that we were late to arrive and he was flexible with check out time.
The room has ample space for 2. His apartment is large, clean, warm and really nicely furnished. The bathroom is a good size (for Copenhagen standards) and the shower was hot.
The apartment is very centrally located and it was very easy to get to central Copenhagen, especially by bike. There is a 7/11 supermarket right by the apartment, an amazing bakery 10 minutes walk away (Mayers), and lots of cafés, bars, restaurants and shops on Norrebrogade.
This was our first time in Copenhagen, and the trip was short but sweet! We loved the city, and would definitely recommend this apartment.
Our stay with Terkel exceeded expectations. Between his work schedule and our adventurous pursuits, we only spent a few brief moments together. But communication was timely and check-in smooth. The flat is lovely, clean and well laid out, offering convenience and privacy. Great mattress! Slept like a rock. Loved the location: just a couple blocks east of Jaegersborggade in Norrebro, it offered access to excellent options for morning coffee, dining and cemetery strolls. The bus stop just outside Terkel's door lands you in Nyhavn or Christianshavn in about 15 minutes. No reservations in making this recommendation. We'd give Terkel 5 (out of 5) stars. Cheers!
I very much enjoyed meeting Terkel and staying in the delightful room which is large, airy and conveniently located for bus transport to the centre. Terkel made me feel very welcome and always answered emails promptly. I really appreciated his help in getting my heavy bag up the four flights of stairs and his advice on local amenities (taxis, public transport, food shopping). The building is on a busy road and although the room faces to the side, the noise of traffic and late night revellers can be distinctly heard. I am used to living on a busy urban road so these things did not particularly bother me. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and well-equipped and the bed is extremely comfortable. Thank you, Terkel, for everything! It was a pleasure to meet you and stay in the room.
Everything went great, got no complaints. Friend of Terkel was there to hand over the keys when we arrived late at night. Terkel is a very nice guy and great host. Apartment is nice, clean and room quite spacious. Can definately recommend this place if you need a place to stay in copenhagen!
Staying at Terkel's home was pleasant: the apartment is cosy, the room quite spacious for two and the bed little but very confortable.
The shared bathroom is perfect to have a very good shower.
There was a good communication before departure and he was quite helpful with hints and suggestions about the city and surroundings of the apartment. Furthermore, always polite and flexible with timetables.
The location of the apartment is quite good, being linked to the city centrum and Metro station (i.e. Nørreport st. in less than 10') with frequent buses.
Quite obvious in CPH, but note that:
- rooms doesn't have the window shutters, so depending of the season you can have light in the room from outside quite early in the morning (tents make a low filter to light)
- the building has no elevator and the apartment is on the last (4th floor)
In the end, there is a TV indeed, but it's not in the bedroom: it is in the livingroom, which it's primarly for the owner's use.
On the whole, a very enjoyable stay which made us appreciate the wonderful CPH!
