Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
The Log Cabin at Oak Hill Farm, dates back to 1790. This was the ancestral home of the Lodge family who came to Loudoun County in the late 1700s from Chester County, PA.

Oak Hill is featured as a historical site in Eugene Scheel's historical map -Snickersville Turnpike, Loudoun County (1997), and is still a working farm today.

Please note that the full bathroom is on the lower level and may not work for all guests.

In order to preserve the experience at Oak Hill, we do not accept pets.

The space
The Log Cabin at Oak Hill Farm is a place for you to reconnect with yourself, a loved one, and history.

With relaxing country views, you will be within easy reach of wineries, breweries, antique shopping, golfing, hiking (Appalachian Trail Head is near by) and dining. Enjoy the surrounding area, or sit down and start that book you always wanted to write.

The Log Cabin itself has a beautiful first floor that includes a wood stove and cozy sitting and dining area. A queen size, four poster bed awaits you on the second floor. Additionally, there is an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances for you to cook or warmup a meal on the lower floor. Please note that the only full bathroom is also on the lower floor.

Situated on 20 acres, the Log Cabin is located off of Route 7, about 1½ hours west of Washington DC in Loudoun County.

While the cabin is ideal for a relaxing getaway, if you plan on working wifi is unreliable. Additionally, if you need to watch tv, you must have an Apple ID password, and access ultimately depends on the internet.

Christina and I enjoy history. Our trips revolve around learning and exploring historical landmarks. We enjoy Revolutionary History, Civil War History, and Greek History. Christina is fluent in Greek. Ray is fluent in Spanish. We collect old books and love antiquing. We are friends and members of many local wineries and breweries in Loudoun County. We would be happy to share recommendations on our favorites.
