Fantastic location, right on the Pennine Way...easy hiking from the door! Lots of room and amenities. Jesca goes the extra mile to ensure that you feel welcome...she even had fresh red roses in the vases! We would love to return in the future!

Wonderful AirBNB in a stunning location! The setting is full of character, but the apartment itself has all the modern conveniences. Loved listening to the river flowing in the back. Great base for a walk along the Pennine Way to Mahlam Cove. Our only regret was that we only had 2 nights here. Would definitely stay here again if we ever get back to Yorkshire!

We spent 2 weeks at the Riverwalk Mill flat in Airton, North Yorkshire. The flat was outstanding: immaculately clean, spacious & comfortably furnished with great beds, pillows, and linens, along with a fully equipped kitchen for home cooking. The piano was an extra fun plus, especially since the host left plenty of music in the piano bench. The flat overlooked the Aire River, creating a lovely audio background for meditation. Hiking trails right out the door made easy access to the Penine Way trail and offered almost limitless possibilities for local hiking. The well-known Malham Cove & Tarn were especially great, offering moderately strenuous hikes rewarded with breathtaking views of the rugged Yorkshire Dales. The nearest large-ish village of Skipton offered plenty of shopping opportunities, and Bronte country was within a half-hour drive. We can't say enough about our stay. The host was gracious & extremely helpful and communicative, even allowing us an early arrival to meet our convenience - plus a lovely flat, and gorgeous location. We would certainly return on another trip to Yorkshire and can highly recommend this to others.

A lovely, peaceful place alongside the river with great walking trails a short distance away. The apartment is very elegant and comfortable. Would be great for a couple with kids or two couples traveling together. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Jesca was fantastic in communicating throughout our stay. She responded to messages and answered questions quickly and thoroughly! The apartment was perfectly located, and was conveniently close to the Pennine way. The only issue we encountered was mold on the bin the bathrooms and bedrooms which triggered a nasty upper respiratory reaction.

Response from Jesca:
I was very sorry to learn of your experience Colleen. In a 250 year old building by the river, it is impossible to replicate modern building standards. Fortunately your medical reaction is extremely rare as the many reviews from other guests show. I hope you recovered speedily and enjoyed the rest of your time in the UK

Jessa met us on arrival and welcomed us and straight away, really friendly and helpful. Lovely thoughtful touches of fresh strawberries and wine etc. The property was a lot larger than we had imagined which was a bonus and the location is stunning looking out over the river and access straight onto beautiful walks. Loads of helpful info, maps and games even the piano we have thoroughly enjoyed our week and will definitely be returning. Thank you :-)

I enjoy walking, especially in the Dales, and dance, music and flowers. My cottage at Airton is an ideal base for exploring the southern Dales and I take advantage of it whenever I can. Just a couple of miles from one of my favourite walks, the scramble up the waterfall at Gord…
