This room is one of many on the property at Villa Anita DV. To be on the property, you will interact with our rescue dogs, so you must love animals. There is no cell service in the area so come prepared to disconnect. However, we have wifi in the common areas if needed.

Please let us know if you plan to bring your pet. We have pet friendly rooms and additional fees for each pet (50 -100$ depending on size).

The space
Villa Anita DV is a living history museum highlighting artwork and a lifestyle that the Mojave Desert encourages. To be here is an experience in the intersection between art, nature, and life. You are treated to the thought process of the artists living here as they experiment building luxurious interiors and fine art using repurposed material. And all is for sale.

When you stay with us, you leave behind the pollution, traffic jams, and stress of fast-paced city living. Here you will experience true quiet, coyotes howling at night, constellations you didn't know existed, sunsets that turn the mountains red, and the ability to connect with yourself, your partners, and nature. Villa Anita DV almost always leaves our guests feeling refreshed and revitalized.

Drawing comparisons already to the Madonna Inn, House on a Rock, the Winchester Mystery House, and Noah Purifoy's Joshua Tree Outdoor Museum, Villa Anita DV is making use of re-purposed materials and outdoor space in a big way. Some say it's like entering the mind of the artists.

This room is a part of the sprawling property at Villa Anita DV. While this space is intimately yours during your stay, the gardens, sculptures, and public rooms dispersed throughout the property are also there for you to explore. Some highlights on our property include: greenhouse, chapel, ceramic studio, and large dining room.

We encourage exploration and discovery, and we are happy to show you around! There is a lot to see. We live here 24/7 as well. While we love sharing these spaces with guests, this is also home for us and our dogs.

After 7 pm: 35$ extra charge

Nearby are some of the most mineral-rich, sulphur-free, hot springs in the world. And right down the street from us is China Ranch Date Farm, a truly unique oasis that you must see.

We are Jack and Carlo! We are two artists whose work is about engaging the 21st century American. From 2012-present, we, along with resident artists have built a large interactive installation that challenges what living an eco-conscious life looks like. This installation has grown into a network of spaces full of color, life, and art! When you stay with us, you are really spending a night at the museum, Villa Anita DV.
