---------------DIRECTIONS IF YOU NEED ------------------
FROM CHARLES DE GAULLE AIRPORT
If you have a lot of luggage, you'll probably want to take a shuttle bus. It doesn't really matter which one, as they all cost about the same amount (12 to 15e). It can take anywhere from 1 hour to 1 and a half hours, depending on traffic.
If you're in a hurry the fastest way of getting to and from CDG is by using the RER train, which is part of the metro system (it takes around 40 minutes and costs about 9€).
FROM BEAUVAIS AIRPORT
The only public transport available from Beauvais to the centre of Paris is a shuttlebus that costs 15e. The trip takes 1 hour and 15 mintues, and will let you off at Porte-Maillot, which is on subway line number 1. Once on line 1, you will have the opportunity to transfer to line 12.
FROM ORLY AIRPORT
The shuttle is very simple and handy if you have a lot of luggage. The connection to RER line B is also good, and from the RER B you have numerous options for tranferring onto metro line 12.
Any method of transport you choose will take between 40 minutes and 1 hour.
Taking a taxi is always an option, but in general it is quite expensive, between 40 to 70 €.
Please no Smoking or Animals in the apartment.
Please keep quiet after 10pm.
You can use the phone to call me in France or the States if you need to. You can aslo use it to call me on my cellphone.
Please don't eat all of my chocolate bar ;-) (yes one host really ate all of it!).
Thanks and hope you'll have a nice stay :-).
The apartment is located in a wonderful street with tons of great chocolatiers and patisseries. So if you have a sweet tooth this is the place for you. The apartment is on the 5th floor and a very windy staircase leading to it so you will burn all those calories off for sure.
We had an infant with us so was hard to get the stroller and stuff back and forth so incase you are going with a baby pack your baby carrier.
We had a car with us and there is a great parking lot 10 mins walk from the apartment with availability of multiple entry passes.
Kevin was easy to contact and the apartment was very clean.
This was my first time booking through airbnb and it's been a great first experience! After enquiring to book Kevin's apartment he replied instantly and was really helpful. He gave very clear instructions about the apartment so it was really easy to find and access once we got to Paris, he was easy to get in touch with throughout our stay (if we had any queries etc) and he even checked up to make sure we'd got there okay and we were enjoying our stay :) overall a brilliant host! The apartment itself was clean and comfortable, and exactly as it looks in the photographs - the large windows make it feel lovely, bright and spacious :) The kitchen was fully equipped, which was great as it allowed us to cook meals for ourselves a few nights - there is a Monoprix supermarket about 1min walk from the apartment which has everything you could possibly need (inc lots of fresh fruit & veg, and a comprehensive wine/cheese section at the back), as well as this there are butchers, fishmongers, and lots of lovely bakery's within minutes of the apartment :) The apartment is also perfectly situated; all the practical things you need (inc. nearest metro stop Rue du Bac less than 1min away), as well as lots of great shops, cafes, bars and restaurants right on your doorstep :) Although the metro was only seconds away, we walked almost everywhere as the apartment is so central - less than 5 mins to the Musee D'Orsay, less than 10 mins to the Louvre - you get the benefits of being very close to all of the main tourist attractions without the area feeling tourist-y at all :) I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Paris, we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely stay here again :)
Our host was absolutely amazing. He had great communication with us since the second we booked his AirBnb. He checked in to see how our arrival went and also checked in a couple times during our stay to see if we needed anything. All of the instructions to get into the property were very easy to understand and well laid out. We have no complaints!
The property itself was in an amazing location. Right in the center of everything you could ever want to do in Paris. All of the big sights were within walking distance. On the street the property is located on there are adorable boutiques and cafes to spend your days at. There are restaurants, stores, sights all available in minutes. I would stay here again in a second!
The apartment was beautiful. It is very minimalistic which is very much appreciated. There isn't stuff laying around everywhere and it is very CLEAN! The bedroom is large and open. The whole apartment gets great light and a wonderful breeze. We were more than comfortable in the apartment and loved the simplicity. You will have everything you need.
This was the perfect place for me to stay during my 6 nights in Paris. The apartment is true to the description - - recently renovated, very clean and clutter-free. The bed was very comfortable. The apartment building is inside a courtyard so it's pretty quiet. The specific location as well as the general surrounding neighborhood can't be beat. Kevin is a considerate and attentive host. His communications were timely, clear and helpful. Before arriving I inquired if there was a hair dryer in the apartment. There wasn't one but Kevin bought one. Thank you Kevin!
My boyfriend and I were very happy with the flat. Everything was exactly as described and shown on the Airbnb website, and we received detailed instructions in advance that we followed with no problems at all. Kevin checked in on us during our stay, but everything was fine and we didn't need any assistance.
The flat is just off Boulevard Saint-Germain and a very short walk to grocery stores and the Seine. It's easy to get to the flat by metro and then it's well-located to walk nearly anywhere in central Paris. The flat is on a charming street with a butcher, fishmonger, patisserie, and other shops that we enjoyed.
