---------------DIRECTIONS IF YOU NEED ------------------
FROM CHARLES DE GAULLE AIRPORT
If you have a lot of luggage, you'll probably want to take a shuttle bus. It doesn't really matter which one, as they all cost about the same amount (12 to 15e). It can take anywhere from 1 hour to 1 and a half hours, depending on traffic.
If you're in a hurry the fastest way of getting to and from CDG is by using the RER train, which is part of the metro system (it takes around 40 minutes and costs about 9€).
FROM BEAUVAIS AIRPORT
The only public transport available from Beauvais to the centre of Paris is a shuttlebus that costs 15e. The trip takes 1 hour and 15 mintues, and will let you off at Porte-Maillot, which is on subway line number 1. Once on line 1, you will have the opportunity to transfer to line 12.
FROM ORLY AIRPORT
The shuttle is very simple and handy if you have a lot of luggage. The connection to RER line B is also good, and from the RER B you have numerous options for tranferring onto metro line 12.
Any method of transport you choose will take between 40 minutes and 1 hour.
Taking a taxi is always an option, but in general it is quite expensive, between 40 to 70 €.
Please no Smoking or Animals in the apartment.
Please keep quiet after 10pm.
You can use the phone to call me in France or the States if you need to. You can aslo use it to call me on my cellphone.
Please don't eat all of my chocolate bar ;-) (yes one host really ate all of it!).
Thanks and hope you'll have a nice stay :-).
Our stay at Kevin's place was wonderful! The apartment is just as described and the location is fabulous. It was easy to walk around or catch the metro. It was a very hot week in Paris and Kevin went to three stores to find us a fan to try to make us more comfortable. That was nice! He was easy to reach and provided plenty of info about the apartment and Paris. Thanks for a great week!
We didnt meet Kevin pesonally, but he was very communicative, he is practically online day and night, and he is a very helpful and reliable host.
The apartement is like in the description. Ideal for two persons. It is VERY well located in one of the best neighborhoods in Paris, best bars, restaurants, cafés, shops are very near.
The apt. is on the fifth floor ( as mentioned in the description), but it is manaegable (we are sporty people in our late fifties... we had no problem).
The whole house, the apt. is very safe (security doors, lock, etc.)
Bathroom with shower, kitchen, fridge - everything is small, but usable and very clean.
We spent a very good week in Kevins apartement.
It was a great "home" during out 7day stay in Paris. We couldn't ask for a better location with lots of great restaurants nearby and popular attractions within walking distance. I liked that there wasn't too much stuff which makes the apartment look clean. The absence of air conditioner didn't bother us since we had our windows open 24/7.
Kevin was very helpful. He provided me with a clear and straightforward instructions regarding the directions to the place, and how to get in. Though we didn't meet in person, I felt that he would have been there if I ran into any problem.
The apartment has a lot of light and is very clean and clutter-free; the shower was a little tight but manageable. It's well located in a great neighbourhood, with a lot of sights within walking distance. Kevin was a very attentive host and made himself available for any queries during our stay. All in all a great choice if you consider Paris standards.
Awesome location for a decent price. The apartment is clean, full kitchen, the host is always trying to help. Will return !
Really beautiful apartment in the heart of St German des Prex. It is up a few flights of stairs with no elevator, but that was no problem for us. The apartment is recently renovated, with a very comfortable bed, and lots of light. The shower is tight, but everything is high quality. The apartment was a pleasant retreat from the busy streets of Paris.
