---------------DIRECTIONS IF YOU NEED ------------------
FROM CHARLES DE GAULLE AIRPORT

If you have a lot of luggage, you'll probably want to take a shuttle bus. It doesn't really matter which one, as they all cost about the same amount (12 to 15e). It can take anywhere from 1 hour to 1 and a half hours, depending on traffic.

If you're in a hurry the fastest way of getting to and from CDG is by using the RER train, which is part of the metro system (it takes around 40 minutes and costs about 9€).

FROM BEAUVAIS AIRPORT

The only public transport available from Beauvais to the centre of Paris is a shuttlebus that costs 15e. The trip takes 1 hour and 15 mintues, and will let you off at Porte-Maillot, which is on subway line number 1. Once on line 1, you will have the opportunity to transfer to line 12.

FROM ORLY AIRPORT

The shuttle is very simple and handy if you have a lot of luggage. The connection to RER line B is also good, and from the RER B you have numerous options for tranferring onto metro line 12.

Any method of transport you choose will take between 40 minutes and 1 hour.

-----TAXI -----
Taking a taxi is always an option, but in general it is quite expensive, between 40 to 70 €.

  • A great host! He's super friendly and easy to communicate with. We emailed back and forth several times before I arrived in Paris, and it was always very clear where to go/what to do/etc.

The apartment is in an absolutely perfect location. Super close to so many great attractions and the neighborhood is full of great shops and good restaurants. The apartment itself is extremely clean and everything is brand new/updated. The bedroom is very large, and the kitchen has all the furnishings you could need.

I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a great location in Paris.

  • Great location, perfect for a couple! Nice cafes, patisseries and market nearby... I would suggest everyone to try Patisserie des Reves' paris brest.. There's metro station 10 seconds away and takes 10 minutes to walk to Saint Germain. Nicolas was a very caring host and easy to communicate with..

  • We had a wonderful time staying in Nicolas apartment and it was exactly as describe by Nicolas. The area was amazing with great restaurants and shopping, it was also very central to all major Paris sites with the metro a stones throw from the front door. We will defiantly stay here again as Nicolas was a great host.

  • A lovely apartment in a great part of Paris.

    May 2013
  • We had a great time staying at Nicolas's apartment. Location is perfect to see everything in Paris - an easy walk to everything in St Germain des Pres, easy walk to Notre Dame, Ile de la Cite, Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Invalides, etc. Used the velib service to bike to Eiffel Tower which was also very quick! Apartment is very clean and big. Only problem I could see anyone having (which wasn't a big deal at all) would be the many many stairs up to the apartment - not for elderly or anyone with leg issues :) Perfect for two people, if you have 3 - realize that sofa bed is in same room as the other bed.

  • Amazing location, you can walk to all the main attractions in central Paris. Nicolas was a great host - gave us some good restaurant recommendations and was very flexible with check in / out times.
The apartment is hidden behind a popular road, so it felt like an oasis in a busy place. The flat itself was bright and airy, quiet and very comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom, which is quite small BUT functional (with good water pressure).
I definitely would stay here again :)

  • My girlfriend and I stayed 4 nights in Nicolas' apartment. The apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfy and the location was fantastic. It is very easy to get anywhere in Paris and there is a very good bakery 30 seconds walk from the front door which was ideal for getting pastries for breakfast. Nicolas was very helpful and I would definitely recommend his place as a base from which to explore the city.

  • Nicolas's apartment was gorgeous! It's a very safe & sweet small place for anyone. It's very central to Paris & it's local attractions and we ate a lot down the street at Le Bon Marche - which is amazing!! Nicolas was very kind & considerate to us checking in earlier & then leaving later which we appreciated greatly. Would stay there again!

  • The experience was excellent. The apartment is a in a classic Parisian building, very quiet and comfortable. The apartment was very clean on our arrival. The kitchen is well supplied with equipment and there's a market very near. The bed is very comfortable. Nicholas was very professional and prompt to respond our questions quickly. The location of the apartment is great and there's a metro station very near. The photos and the description of the apartment in AirBNB are very precise.

    September 2012
  • Nicolas' apartment is in a great location, close to all of Paris' most famous attractions. The area itself has some nice places to eat or simply people watch too. As long as you don't have any mobility issues (plenty of stairs, no lift - which Nicolas points out himself) then I'd definitely recommend his place.

Also worth noting, Nicolas was a very good communicator which made things easy too.
