We had such a great time camping on Jason's property. We are definitely not camping experts, so having the kitchen and bathroom available to us was huge. It was wonderful to get up in the morning and be able to enjoy fresh ground, Costa Rican coffee as we packed up the tent and all of our supplies. Jason's home is adorable and very clean. Even though he had to be out of town during our stay, he was incredibly hospitable and very easy to get in touch with.
We loved camping/hammocking in Jason's backyard. It was peaceful and quiet and would highly recommend staying here. Jason is a wonderful host, and we really enjoyed getting to know him. Thank you for everything!! (my husband is still talking about your amazing roasted coffee. :))
Wonderful stay over the labor day weekend! We pitched our own tent in a nice secluded spot of Jason's yard. There was a great little fire pit that we used to enjoy the obligatory camp fire. Jason was also really great about giving us tips for where to go, what to do in the area. As well as use of the house for the bathroom, kitchen and water.
As an even nicer bonus he made us some excellent coffee beverages in the mornings!
I'd highly recommend a stay here.
If you are looking for a private, quiet camping spot - you are looking in the right place! the woods behind Jayson's house are beautiful and peaceful.
The area surrounding Jayson's home has much to offer for nature lovers, hikers and bikers. there are also some good restaurants, bars and a nice farmers market near by.
On top of that Jason is a great host, very easy to communicate and very friendly. even though you will be camping, his hospitality will make you feel at home.
My partner and I were hoping to find a relaxing camping getaway from the crowded city and overcrowded beaches on July 4th weekend, Jason's place far exceeded our expectations.
The area offers more activities than any person could accomplish in just one weekend and Jason creates a warm and comfortable environment, offering his own wonderful experience for guests to enjoy.
Jason is a genuinely friendly and interesting person, I would highly recommend the opportunity to get to know him and his escape in NW Ct.
