Apartment - Entire home/apt · c - Suipacha, Buenos Aires, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina

Cool One bedroom+Living room apartment in historic building one block away from the Argentine landmark, among other highly touristic areas.Recently renovated.Easy access to subways, buses and walking distance to most of our history

The Space

Big comfortable apartment with one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen, and a separated livingroom that can be seen as a second bedroom. Right in the center of the city, with a location impossible to beat. One block away from the landmark of the country, the obelisco. With all the subway/metro lines around the corner, and the yellow touristic bus stop one block away as well. Take a look at the area, watch a map and you will find thousands of great restaurants, theaters and places you must visit within walking distance.

Guest Access

The apartment has high speed wifi internet connection, heating, air conditioner and a great host that will do everything within his possibilities to make sure you have a pleasant stay =) Just tell me if you need something special.

Interaction with Guests

This part of the city is historical and the buildings are mostly antique, knowing that, after getting this apartment I worked hard and put a lot of effort updating the place to make it comfortable and cozy for up to 5 people. With all new appliances you will have a nice small kitchen with microwave, hot plate, coffee maker, refrigerator and cookware. The bedroom is very big and has a double bed. The living room has a couch that convert into another really comfortable double bed. If you are a party of 5, I can provide you with an extra couch for the 5th guest upon request. I will, for sure, continue updating and working on making the apartment better in between guests.
When you get here, you'll find fresh towels, bed sheets, and all everything you may need to feel at home such as bottle and can opener. Again, the whole idea is to offer my guests a comfortable place where you will enjoy your days in Buenos Aires. If you doubt this is the apartment or you, please ask me telling me what you plan to do here and I'll answer you with total honesty.

The Neighborhood

The Avenida Corrientes Neighborhood is both full of commerce activity during the day, and when the sun goes down, the theaters lights turn on. Corrientes Avenue is for us, what Brodway is for New York. With the best theaters of Argentina and the best shows. The neighborhood is not residential. It's vibrant and full of energy, and it offers the best cultural activities within walking distance. Great if you are staying for just a couple of days.

Getting around

The apartment is one block away from all the subway/metro lines. Thousands of buses passes along 9 de julio avenue, one block away. It's extremely easy to go anywhere in the city, from the apartment.
Parking is not included, but there are many Garages around the corner. More than 4 parking garages within a block radious.
I can tell you how to get from the airport, just tell me which airport you are landing at. And I'll be happy to help

  • Diego was super nice and helpful, waiting for us in the apartment late hours as our arrival flight got delayed. He provided us with clean linens and towels, a bottle of water in the fridge, and everything we needed to our stay, including a mobile phone with a local number in case we needed to call him or somewhere else. He helped us to arrange a cab to the airport in the day we left, as taxi Ezeiza failed to schedule our car and we were risked to miss our flight back. I'd stay here again for Diego alone, he's an awesome host, really professional.
About the place: it's an old building (I was amused every time I had to use the old elevator :)) and has everything you need. The apartment is really clean and quiet. It has a small fridge and a small kitchen stove, with appliances enough for you to make coffee, tea or even cook simple meals. Bathroom is clean and the shower has great water flow (I find this important! :)) It's one block away from the Obelisco, there is a 24h store around the corner and several restaurants open really late hours. It's also near the Subte (subway) and has several bus stops around. If I ever need to go to BsAs again, I'd surely stay with Diego. :)

  • Lovely quiet central location. Close to all the major downtown sites. Diego left us with a mobile phone to use, as well as tourist passes and metro passes. Despite our late arrival from Uruguay, he was there waiting to do the check in. Apartment is very clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

  • We had a wonderful time. Diego was super-friendly and helpful with directions and advice about how to get around town. He even left a phone in the apartment so we could contact him with any questions. The apartment is in a perfect location, steps from 3 different subway lines, so it's easy to get anywhere. It's also in an area with lots of shops, restaurants, and attractions within easy walking distance. (Although it can be a little loud on weekend nights, that comes with anything in a prime location.) It was great to have a kitchen, too. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
    Thanks, Diego!

  • Great location, wonderfully host. As an example of how far Diego will go for his guests, it was raining heavily the day after we arrived and Diego offered to come over a nod lend us some umbrellas!!

We ended up extending our stay in the flat.

  • We found the apartment exactly as shown in the pictures. We were a group of three people and we had more than enough space. he location is excellent! Diego and Luciana were great hosts. They checked in on us during our stay and were always available to answer any questions we might have. They were also very flexible with check-in and check-out times, which was very thoughtful. Overall, it was a very good experience.

About
I've been living in Buenos Aires for almost 6 years now and can't get enough of the vibrant energy, culture and diversity it has to offer. I LOVE travelling and I'm always planning my next trip. I use Airbnb a lot to meet locals and find great places to stay on my trips, and also to bring a little bit of the world to me as well. As a guest and a host, I make every effort to be as respectful, accommodating, and friendly as possible, and I treat my guests as friends who are visiting me. I love meeting new people and exploring new places and will always do my best to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Oh! And I also like to try new coffee bean blends, as I'm sort of a coffee geek =)
