Big comfortable apartment with one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen, and a separated livingroom that can be seen as a second bedroom. Right in the center of the city, with a location impossible to beat. One block away from the landmark of the country, the obelisco. With all the subway/metro lines around the corner, and the yellow touristic bus stop one block away as well. Take a look at the area, watch a map and you will find thousands of great restaurants, theaters and places you must visit within walking distance.
The apartment has high speed wifi internet connection, heating, air conditioner and a great host that will do everything within his possibilities to make sure you have a pleasant stay =) Just tell me if you need something special.
Interaction with Guests
This part of the city is historical and the buildings are mostly antique, knowing that, after getting this apartment I worked hard and put a lot of effort updating the place to make it comfortable and cozy for up to 5 people. With all new appliances you will have a nice small kitchen with microwave, hot plate, coffee maker, refrigerator and cookware. The bedroom is very big and has a double bed. The living room has a couch that convert into another really comfortable double bed. If you are a party of 5, I can provide you with an extra couch for the 5th guest upon request. I will, for sure, continue updating and working on making the apartment better in between guests.
When you get here, you'll find fresh towels, bed sheets, and all everything you may need to feel at home such as bottle and can opener. Again, the whole idea is to offer my guests a comfortable place where you will enjoy your days in Buenos Aires. If you doubt this is the apartment or you, please ask me telling me what you plan to do here and I'll answer you with total honesty.
The Avenida Corrientes Neighborhood is both full of commerce activity during the day, and when the sun goes down, the theaters lights turn on. Corrientes Avenue is for us, what Brodway is for New York. With the best theaters of Argentina and the best shows. The neighborhood is not residential. It's vibrant and full of energy, and it offers the best cultural activities within walking distance. Great if you are staying for just a couple of days.
The apartment is one block away from all the subway/metro lines. Thousands of buses passes along 9 de julio avenue, one block away. It's extremely easy to go anywhere in the city, from the apartment.
Parking is not included, but there are many Garages around the corner. More than 4 parking garages within a block radious.
I can tell you how to get from the airport, just tell me which airport you are landing at. And I'll be happy to help
This apartment is not an apartment to throw parties. Please don't smoke inside the apartment. There are two nice and accessible windows where you can smoke but please make sure the smoke goes away, as the guest after you may not be a smoker. Pets are not allowed because the floors in the bedroom and livingroom is carpet.
I'm very flexible with the check in/out but please let me know your arrival/departure time in advance so I can organize myself
This was our second stay in a Diego pad. In our first review we called Diego our "one-stop-shop, super concierge and friend in Buenos Aries", and that continued for this stay. Have a look at our previous review, as he really is the perfect host for your stay in BA.
Diego was kind enough to accompany us in a taxi from our previous AirBnB in a taxi and let us in, show us around. The apartment is in a beautiful old building with lots of charming features and the apartment itself also has a more older world charm, with roll top bath and high ceilings. Everything was exactly as described in photos, and the location is right in the heart of things. We actually found San Telmo to be our favourite area of BA, and this apartment is in easy walking distance.
Do yourself a favour and stay in either this, or one of the other pads owned by Diego. He's a great host and we feel like we made a real friend in him during our short time in Buenos Aries.
The apartment was in a great location, and it was very spacious. Great find!
Best location in town! We had a wonderful time stay in this apartment. It is above the famous historical IDEAl bar and cinema, the building itself is a historical landmark in Buenos Aires, when you step inside the antique elevator you would appreciate all of these historical feels :-) I did. The host is very nice, he provided us an mobile phone to use, and give us many useful information about the local attractions, communication is excellent. I recommend this place.
The apartment is very well located, near the interesting areas
It's quiet but insufficiently bright.
Diego was a most helpful host, helping us with tons of info even before the trip. Every single mail or message to him is answered promptly.
The apartment is right in central Buenos Aires . The city's famous landmark, the Obelisk, is 5 to 10 min away fm the aprt. If landing at Aeroporto, public bus 45, cost 5 ars5, takes you direct to his place.
He even let us hv a sube card which saves us lots of money when taking a bus or metro. He also left a bus guide for us, take yr time, learn how to read the guide. It is cheap to move around with public buses.
The aprt fits my family of 5. There is air cond in the main bedroom that sleeps 4. Kitchen space is bit limited so only one person can fit in at a time. It is fully equipped anyway and there is a carrefour next to it in case you need provisions.
Neighborhood is safe, being near the obelisk. Several different lines of metro is within 5 min of walk fm aprt.
Overall great host, fantastic place...
Our stay at Diego's place was just perfect.
Diego is probably the most helpful guy ever.
Since he was out of town, his cousins helped out with the check in and everything else we needed.
The location is very central and you can find a lot of restaurants and cafes around.
The place itself is great for a couple even though there are beds for 4 persons. It's basic, nothing too fancy but all you need.
Diego even provided us with all information we needed for our trip to the south, offered a lot of help and would do everything possible to make a comfortable stay for us.
Great experience after all.

I've been living in Buenos Aires for almost 6 years now and can't get enough of the vibrant energy, culture and diversity it has to offer.
I LOVE travelling and I'm always planning my next trip. I use Airbnb a lot to meet locals and find great places to stay on my trips, and also to bring a little bit of the world to me as well.
As a guest and a host, I make every effort to be as respectful, accommodating, and friendly as possible, and I treat my guests as friends who are visiting me. I love meeting new people and exploring new places and will always do my best to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Oh! And I also like to try new coffee bean blends, as I'm sort of a coffee geek =)
