Kutut and his staff are wonderful! The rental is located out of the hustle and bustle of Ubud, with a serene view of a rice field. The property was clean and extremely nice. The staff went above and beyond to help book excursions and have lot of insight on the area. I would highly suggest staying here.

Devi's Place is an authentically beautiful accomodation. Set in a village a few minutes (by taxi) from Ubud centre. The village itself has a varied range of restaurants (we recommend Vespa Cafe, Cupits BBQ and Bayus kitchen! The latter two deliver to Devi's!) and spas (we went to Eve's spa and had a fantastic experience!). We stayed at the Orchid bungalow, it's a two bed villa with a pool (shared with the neighbouring bungalow) overlooking a rice field. The view is phenomenal!! The staff are incredibly helpful and will organise and suggest any trips you may wish to go on. We haven't been to Bali before and we're bowled over by the helpfulness and kindness of the staff at Devi's place. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing base for your holiday in Ubud I can not recommend this Villa enough!

We stayed at Orchid Bungalow for 13 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The place was quiet, spacious and private with a very nice pool. We especially enjoyed the view over the rice fields. It was magical during the evenings. Ketut and the stuff were very friendly and helpful all the time without being intrusive. We got help with everything we needed. Thank you so much for making our stay for such a great experience!

Really nice and friendly bungalow. The rooms are clean and come with a friendly design. The kitchen has everything you need and is clean too. I loved the view from the bungalow with big pool! You can see ricefields direktly near by. Our stay here was very good and I would come back again! Ketut and his family are well organised. They helped us planning activities like a great bike tour.

For those with short attention spans, stay. It's really nice. For those who don't mind some extra sentences, you'll love what you get here as long as you know what you're getting. Yes, there are lots of crawling creatures: lizards equipped with camouflage, ants big enough to carry off small children, a random roach or two. And, sure, it isn't as mosquito-free as, say, the Bellagio. But what do you expect? You're basically in the middle of a jungle, and you're not the only thing that wants to live there. Deal with this fact, and everything else that isn't perfect about paradise will seem like a quibble. I would've preferred higher water pressure in the shower, a television in both of the villa's bedrooms, a larger fridge, and some mosquito nets, but I found it hard to complain when looking out over the rice terrace from my shared (okay, one more nitpick) pool every morning. And, high pressure or not, I dug showering outside--the open space made the bathroom feel huge. There's a small library, tons of places to sit/relax, and even a kitchen if you avoid the temptation of having every meal delivered, which I managed to...barely. But, as with most memorable places, it's the people who made Orchid Bungalow home during my two-week visit. The staff answered every question and strove to fulfill each request. They cleaned unobtrusively and smiled unabashedly. They made a new place seem less strange by being more than strangers. In short, they rocked. No where was this benevolence more evident than in the treatment I received from Jenny, the affable Kiwi who runs the joint. She helped increase the Wi-Fi's speed, arranged for a repairman to both pick up and drop off my laptop when the hard drive went on strike, and entertained with her much-cooler-sounding English in more than one engaging conversation.I found myself wishing I were a member of her family, though, in many ways, I was treated like one. Had I met her earlier, I would've stayed with her sooner. Don't make my inadvertent mistake by delaying a trip here. Book now, fantasize about Ubud's beauty, and marvel at how your imaginings become reality from the second you arrive. And take a dip whenever possible. Your troubles will drown assuming you don't. Cheers. P.S. The center of Ubud is about a thirty minute walk away, up and down quite a few inclines. Don't let the distance dissuade you: you'll want to burn some calories after dining at yet another of Bali's deliciously affordable restaurants. Or get message on the way back. Probably both.

The place is simply amazing! We love our bungalow and the area as such. We had perfect stay, the staff is very friendly and kind. Such wonderful people! We stayed there for 2 nights and it became our favorite place in Bali trip. Great location, we had private driver because we wanted to see as much as we could but once we even walked to Ubud, easily accessible on motorbike ;) the breakfast is very delicious. I will come back there! Recommended!
