The Space

We have three bedrooms on the second floor and because we never reserve the rooms for people who don't know each other, you'll have complete privacy.

Nice home in quiet neighborhood, 5 minutes to UVM and Burlington airport, 10 minutes to downtown Burlington and Lake Champlain and 45 minutes to Stowe. Breakfast included.

Guests will stay on our second floor which has three bedrooms and a bathroom. The largest bedroom has a king bed, a TV, and air conditioning (in the summer). Two additional bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two twins are available for additional persons in the same party for $25/pp/nt. (For the privacy of our guests, we will book only one party at a time.) We have a parking space on the driveway.

We offer a light breakfast of cereal, fruit, breads, yogurt, and coffee and tea.

Your hosts, Jane and Steve, have a bedroom on the first floor so you'll have complete privacy on the second floor.

We live in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street and there is a bus stop about .3 miles from the house.

We enjoy meeting our guests and are happy to give advice about restaurants and attractions in the area. We will be in our home during your stay but our bedroom is on the first floor so you have complete privacy on the second floor.

We live in a quiet suburban neighborhood that is very family oriented.

We have a space in our driveway for our guests to park in. Our home is located about a mile from the airport and can be reached by taxi. Downtown Burlington is a 10 minute drive and we're less than an hour to several ski areas.

Check In
  • Steve and Jane were great hosts. The listing was just as it was described online and the breakfasts of yogurt, granola, English muffins, cereal, fruit, etc. was very filling. There are three bedrooms upstairs and we stayed in the one with the king-sized bed. It was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The upstairs has its own bathroom which was our private one to use. The other two bedrooms were unoccupied because Steve and Jane only have one party stay at a time. The house was very quiet and a very short ride (less than 10 minutes if you catch all green lights) into downtown Burlington and even closer to the University of Vermont campus. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Room just as pictured. Very comfortable and private. Hosts friendly and considerate. Felt like being home away from home. Hope to stay again and would recommend without reservation.

  • Our hosts Steve and Jane were warm and welcoming and ready to help with directions. They hit the perfect balance between being friendly and leaving us time to be alone.
The room was lovely - clean and beautifully appointed. It was the kind of room that is easy to relax in. The bed was very comfortable - my husband kept repeating how well he had slept!
The neighborhood was very nice. We both wished we could have had more time to explore or go for a walk.

  • As all previous reviews- Steve and Jane are very kind and helpful. They have a spacious house and enjoy sharing it. The space upstairs is quite private and one doesn't have to feel as if they are invading their space or that they are invading yours. The neighborhood feels safe and is pretty. Steve helped me get bus schedules to downtown until my friend arrived with her car. Also, the house is very quiet.

  • Steve and Jane Goodman were very friendly and accommodating hosts. When rainy weather put our tentative plans on hold, they helped us come up with some alternate ideas. They were very generous with their time, guide books and the like. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was included. They live in an attractive, quiet neighborhood... close to all Burlington and Shelburne attractions. I felt like we had made new friends... and I would highly recommend them!

  • This was our first time with AirBNB and Steve and Jane made it a lovely one. We weren't at the house much because of our busy schedule but when we were our hosts were so friendly and welcoming and their home was inviting. The bed was very comfortable. I slept better than I ever have on the road before. Great location. Highly recommended!

  • Steve and Jane were wicked nice! We stayed with them for two nights, and they could not have been more accommodating or helpful. Their place was comfy and warm on a frigid weekend, and the bed was so cozy! Jane made some delicious granola in the mornings- we wish we could replicate it! If we go to Burlington again, we'd love to stay with them.

  • Steve and Jane were extremely accommodating, from the minute we booked the trip! We were traveling from PA and they were so kind and helpful allowing us to arrive late and making sure we felt right at home. They built a friendly environment and were more than willing to provide recommendations for nearby restaurants, etc. Breakfast was wonderful, and we all personally loved Jane's homemade granola! We look forward to returning next time we visit Burlington!

  • Jane and Steve were wonderful hosts during my weekend stay. They are warm and thoughtful people. Their home is lovely and I was very comfortable in the big room, although all the rooms were lovely. Steve's artwork is a big plus!
