Other things to note
Parties and events are not allowed.

This NOT a suitable venue for people with PET ALLERGIES. Dogs are regularly hosted here, and despite thorough cleaning, host CANNOT guarantee guests with allergies will not be affected. Please strongly consider NOT booking if anyone in your group has severe pet allergies.

Enjoy use of fire pit, herb garden, playground for the kids, recreation equipment to camp on the property (or elsewhere), outdoor games, and floats for floating the Kettle River in June and July.

There's an inoperative camera in the stairwell of the house. It has never been used and is not connected. A few guests have expressed concerns about it, but I assure you it is not used and doesn't work.

Ask about the house's Echo Show (Alexa) device; you can ask questions about your stay and even ask questions and get answers before arrival.

To check on any possible hazardous winter weather along your route, please conduct a search for "Transportation Decision Support Spokane." Sorry, can't include the link as Airbnb may mask it.

For information on special events in the area, conduct a search for "North Columbia Monthly What's Happening." Sorry, can't include the link as Airbnb will mask it.

Consider purchasing travel insurance so that your trip won't be ruined in the event of an unforeseen event.

This is a rural area. You may encounter animals and pests. Bear, moose, and coyotes have been seen on the property. Cougars have been seen nearby. I take many measures to keep bees and ants away from the house and deck, but it's possible you will see them. In particular, if you see ants, please notify me so I can deal with them.

Please note: Hansen Woodland Farm has NO air-conditioning and NO dishwasher. Only a few days a year are uncomfortable without AC. Fans and workarounds provided. When you book, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.

The place is out in the country enough so you won't be bothered by neighbors, but you won't feel lonely either. Lots of friendly folks live nearby and a charming 100+-year old non-denominational community church is literally IN THE BACK YARD. Onsite find a binder, large box of tourist brochures, and Alexa unit programmed with things to do. Before arrival, see Guidebook within this listing or ask host for things-to-do tips.
