His signature culinary artistry tempts palates around the world and positions him as one of today's foremost chefs.

• The Drawing Room
"Some drink-makers call themselves bar chefs, some mixologists. Albert Trummer thinks of himself an apothéker. He crafts his cocktails with fresh, local ingredients, herbs and botanicals to create unique cocktails that are nothing like anything you've tried before. Trummer borrows techniques from the kitchen and apothecary to stir up masterpieces that blur the line between chemistry and art.
In the "fiercely competitive world of high-end cocktail shaking" by Time Out New York, Trummer is dubbed "the man to beat." (email hidden) and watch Trummer at play or select your elixir of the day from a stainless-steel cocktail cart wheeled through the room."

Great arrival instructions. Corner room had a great view of South Beach. Location has a great pool as well.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Frank's place and loved it! The view of South Beach and the ocean was absolutely perfect! The room is very clean and looks exactly as it does in the photo. The location couldn't be any better. The room is located within the Shelborne Hotel, which is only 2 blocks from Lincoln Road (shops, bars, restaurants, etc). Parking was only 3 blocks away and very affordable ($16 per 24 hrs). The Shelborne Hotel offers a great bar/lounge in the lobby, and has a very nice pool with great towel and drink service. The beach is right outside of the pool. Overall, we loved our experience and definitely would rent Frank's place again! Frank was very responsive to any messages and questions we asked. We also would like to thank Diana, the housekeeper, for allowing us to drop our bags off with her before our check-in time.
We had a really good time. The room was great, very clean and the building also. Great location, close to everything, within walking distance. And the host was very helpful and easy to communicate with.
This place is absolutely stunning!! We stayed here for our 4th of July vacation and it couldn't have been more perfect. Frank had all of the necessities fully stocked for us upon arrival. The location is right on the beach and seriously has the most majestic view! It is walking distance to restaurants, nightclubs, CVS/ Walgreens, shopping destinations, and everything else. We used Uber a few times and it was extremely inexpensive. We can't wait to come back and rebook this beautiful place!
Frank's apartment is in the heart of it all. Close to clubs, restaurants, and located right on the beach. The room was immaculately clean and the view was what you wish you could wake up to every morning. Amazing room, amazing host. Already planning my next visit!
Just spent 2 nights in this beautiful room and are definitely sad to have left. Frank answered every single one of our emails extremely fast and answered every question (nothing worse than someone not answering every question so you have to continue to email). Check in was a breeze as we bypassed the lobby all together and the went straight to the room. The views are unreal, we spent hours on the balcony overlooking the water and each time we walked back into the room, it was like Christmas morning. The room itself was great and exactly as described in the pictures. The Shelbourne itself was fantastic and the location was great to be able to walk to every major attraction but also feel like you were in a resort and not right in the heart of South Beach. We had no problems using all of the hotels facilities just as advertised. Our arrival was well before normal check-in and since the room was vacant, we were able to immediately go to the room which in the 95 degree heat was amazing. All in all, a 5 star experience in which I would recommend to friends and will definitely be back!! Thanks Frank!
Frank made this stay very simple for us. Everything we needed was available and he supplied us with organized and detailed information that was very useful. His place is so nice and in a great location for Miami Beach. The balcony is just one of the perks! Frank is super nice guy and I will be coming back here to stay next time I'm in Miami. Thanks Frank!
About the Host, Frank
Hey Everyone! Glad to be on here!
A little bit about myself: I'm a Colombian-American, self-professed techie from Miami, who loves playing (read: getting frustrated with) tennis, listening and singing along to gypsy jazz and old tangos, and watching advanced movie screenings. I went to school in NYC (SIPA) and now live mostly in New York, where I work in consulting and enjoy eating out or cooking in with my beautiful girlfriend whenever possible.
I enjoy doing a little bit of everything, but as it relates to this site, I love to travel. As a host, if I can make it easier for other like-minded souls (and rent out my place easily :)), then I'm all for it! :) I look forward to meeting others here and wherever my travels take me.
