"Some drink-makers call themselves bar chefs, some mixologists. Albert Trummer thinks of himself an apothéker. He crafts his cocktails with fresh, local ingredients, herbs and botanicals to create unique cocktails that are nothing like anything you've tried before. Trummer borrows techniques from the kitchen and apothecary to stir up masterpieces that blur the line between chemistry and art.
In the "fiercely competitive world of high-end cocktail shaking" by Time Out New York, Trummer is dubbed "the man to beat." (email hidden) and watch Trummer at play or select your elixir of the day from a stainless-steel cocktail cart wheeled through the room."

The space was exactly as it appears and was described, beautiful. Just what my wife and I were looking for. Good access to the beach, shopping, and dining. We're looking forward to our next stay.
My husband and I celebrated our 5th anniversary at Franks place and it was absolutely wonderful! The view from the balcony overlooking the pool and ocean was picturesque. The room was beautiful ( as seen in the photo's) and had everything we needed. Right In the heart of South Beach just a few blocks from Lincoln Road with some of the best restaurants and shops around. Frank could not have been a better host, keeping in contact with me answering all my questions and we were also able to get into the room the minute we arrived Thank You to Diana the housekeeper. We look forward to returning to our new favorite destination!
My experience was amazing, the apartment is great with very comfortable beds. The location is truly one of the key aspects of this apartment not to mention the ocean view from the balcony. Frank is a fantastic host, he's super attentive and makes sure his guests are well taken care of.
Great arrival instructions. Corner room had a great view of South Beach. Location has a great pool as well.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Frank's place and loved it! The view of South Beach and the ocean was absolutely perfect! The room is very clean and looks exactly as it does in the photo. The location couldn't be any better. The room is located within the Shelborne Hotel, which is only 2 blocks from Lincoln Road (shops, bars, restaurants, etc). Parking was only 3 blocks away and very affordable ($16 per 24 hrs). The Shelborne Hotel offers a great bar/lounge in the lobby, and has a very nice pool with great towel and drink service. The beach is right outside of the pool. Overall, we loved our experience and definitely would rent Frank's place again! Frank was very responsive to any messages and questions we asked. We also would like to thank Diana, the housekeeper, for allowing us to drop our bags off with her before our check-in time.
We had a really good time. The room was great, very clean and the building also. Great location, close to everything, within walking distance. And the host was very helpful and easy to communicate with.
This place is absolutely stunning!! We stayed here for our 4th of July vacation and it couldn't have been more perfect. Frank had all of the necessities fully stocked for us upon arrival. The location is right on the beach and seriously has the most majestic view! It is walking distance to restaurants, nightclubs, CVS/ Walgreens, shopping destinations, and everything else. We used Uber a few times and it was extremely inexpensive. We can't wait to come back and rebook this beautiful place!
About the Host, Frank
Hey Everyone! Glad to be on here!
A little bit about myself: I'm a Colombian-American, self-professed techie from Miami, who loves playing (read: getting frustrated with) tennis, listening and singing along to gypsy jazz and old tangos, and watching advanced movie screenings. I went to school in NYC (SIPA) and now live mostly in New York, where I work in consulting and enjoy eating out or cooking in with my beautiful girlfriend whenever possible.
I enjoy doing a little bit of everything, but as it relates to this site, I love to travel. As a host, if I can make it easier for other like-minded souls (and rent out my place easily :)), then I'm all for it! :) I look forward to meeting others here and wherever my travels take me.
