Dining & lounges located in the hotel:
• World-famous Morimoto
"Chef Masaharu Morimoto - millions know him as the star of Iron Chef and Iron Chef America - has garnered critical and popular acclaim for his inventive integration of Western and Japanese ingredients. His signature culinary artistry tempts palates around the world and positions him as one of today's foremost chefs.
Creative flavors spice up the menu at Morimoto South Beach. Enhancing your culinary experience are Morimoto Beer, Shochu, Morimoto Sake and specialty cocktails."
• The Bistro
"Reminiscent of 1950's European coffee houses, French patisseries and Italian cafes, The Bistro features a Coffee Bar that offers La Colombe coffees. You will also enjoy fresh pressed juices and fruit smoothies, as well as house-made baked goods, gelato, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. From the traditional café tables, you can savor the lush ambiance of historic Collins Avenue and the iconic porte cochere, created by renowned architect Morris Lapidus."
• The Drawing Room
"Some drink-makers call themselves bar chefs, some mixologists. Albert Trummer thinks of himself an apothéker. He crafts his cocktails with fresh, local ingredients, herbs and botanicals to create unique cocktails that are nothing like anything you've tried before. Trummer borrows techniques from the kitchen and apothecary to stir up masterpieces that blur the line between chemistry and art.
In the "fiercely competitive world of high-end cocktail shaking" by Time Out New York, Trummer is dubbed "the man to beat." (email hidden) and watch Trummer at play or select your elixir of the day from a stainless-steel cocktail cart wheeled through the room."

The refreshing and relaxed spirit of the Mediterranean is infused in everything from the ambiance to the incredibly fresh fish, seafood and produce dishes. Frank's private residence was amazing. The location and the room were just perfect. The view from the balcony is to die for. The beach and pool at the Shelborne were just beautiful. My only slight complaint was that the wifi signal was not good but that's the hotel's fault. Thanks Frank!
My friends and I had an amazing experience. The room is beautiful and looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The view is spectacular and the many windows made us feel even closer to the beach. I would definitely return to miami and stay in this listing again!!
Listing was exactly as advertised. Amazing view and clean!! Frank's directions were very clear and helpful. Perfect for a weekend vacation. Best of both worlds with hotel access but homely feel. Will definitely book again when staying at south beach!
Our stay was wonderful. Frank was very accommodating with all my questions and concerns and I would stay again next time I come.
absolute 5 Star experience. This was my first ABB experience, and Franks response time and logistics were better than Marriott.. and you canNOT find a room with a balcony like this for 3 times the price. The room is not large, but the property/pool/beach/overall location are a home run....my apologies to his beautiful mother & sister who had to bring me another key after we locked ourselves out :)
Frank is responsive and easy to work with. The apartment is as described, not huge but well done. Views and the patio are great and the hotel amenities are great. Will be back!
Frank was a great host. He was quick to respond on all messages and worked with us to accommodate and early check in. We loved the location of the room. Right on the beach and within easy walking distance to Ocean Dr. The balcony on the room is great for morning coffee. We hope to return soon.
Hey Everyone! Glad to be on here!
A little bit about myself: I'm a Colombian-American, self-professed techie from Miami, who loves playing (read: getting frustrated with) tennis, listening and singing along to gypsy jazz and old tangos, and watching advanced movie screenings. I went to school in NYC (SIPA) and now live mostly in New York, where I work in consulting and enjoy eating out or cooking in with my beautiful girlfriend whenever possible.
I enjoy doing a little bit of everything, but as it relates to this site, I love to travel. As a host, if I can make it easier for other like-minded souls (and rent out my place easily :)), then I'm all for it! :) I look forward to meeting others here and wherever my travels take me.
