Dining & lounges located in the hotel:

• Vesper American Brasserie

"Borrowing its name from one of James Bond’s choice-cocktails, Vesper American Brasserie is a mix of ‘50s glamour and mysterious charm. An ode to an era that defined American culture; notes of exclusivity, seduction and salacious comfort food waft throughout this casual fine dining escape. A morning visit to Vesper invites guests to its indoor café. Request a table al fresco, and greet the day with a warm espresso by the sea. As night approaches, Vesper transitions into an elite dining spot, with seating options inside the dark, rustic brasserie or poolside accompanied by salty air and candlelight. Modern American fare designed for two welcomes couples to the Vesper quarters. American wines and mood music set the scene for a well-rounded dining experience at South Beach’s newest epicurean hot spot."

• Bar Tanaka (currently closed for renovations, but opening soon!)

"One of Philadelphia’s most acclaimed sushi chefs, Chef Hiroyuki “Zama” Tanaka’s vibrant Japanese style of cooking recently received a three-bell review from The Philadelphia Inquirer for his Rittenhouse Square flagship sushi bar, Zama. Zama’s approach can be credited from years of experience at some of Philadelphia’s Asian landmarks including POD, Morimoto and Genji. Chef Tanaka partnered with LDV Hospitality and Menin Hotels to take his rich culinary traditions to South Beach to create a modern twist on Japanese cultures. Bar Tanaka offers an extensive sushi selection of the world’s freshest and finest fish as well as imported Japanese beers, sakes and wines."

  • Great location and great host. The views are spectacular and the location is very convenient. My wife and I would definitely stay in Franks place again.

    May 2013

To sum up, I would say this is a nice apartment with a great ocean view indeed, very well situated in SoBe, perfect for a short stay for two people but not very comfortable for a family with 2 kids, since there are no wardrobe and the bathroom is very small, and it is pretty noisy(but great for people who like doing party all night long during week ends!)
Frank is a kind host, prompt responding your emails and ready to help.Thank you for that.

  • Great room with views over the ocean. Frank was very helpful providing information on the area. Location is perfect. Clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

  • Great view, fantastic location... Perfect for a short stay in SoBe. Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet Frank as he was out-of-town but he was very responsive on the phone. Highly recommend this place for your next trip to Miami. Only problem of this place is the fact that it is going to make you hate your view when you get back home!

    April 2013
  • The room was great! Beautiful view, nice balcony. Great shower! Frank has added some nice touches - extra towels, waters, shampoo, etc. I only rated it 4 stars instead of 5 because the halls and pool can get pretty loud on the weekends. Not Frank's fault at all, but those staying should be aware.

  • Awesome place and one of the best views in Miami Beach. Frank was a great host and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

About
Hey Everyone! Glad to be on here! A little bit about myself: I'm a 32-year old Colombian-American, self-professed techie from Miami, who loves playing (read: getting frustrated with) tennis, listening and singing along to gypsy jazz and old tangos, and watching advanced movie screenings. I went to school in NYC (SIPA) and now live mostly in New York, where I work in consulting and enjoy eating out or cooking in with my beautiful girlfriend whenever possible. I enjoy doing a little bit of everything, but as it relates to this site, I love to travel. As a host, if I can make it easier for other like-minded souls (and rent out my place easily :)), then I'm all for it! :) I look forward to meeting others here and wherever my travels take me.
