The bedroom is cozy with a comfortable trundle bed for one or two. The room has a dresser, large closet and desk and has a large window that looks out into the trees. Guests have use of kitchen, living room, dinning room and television room as well as use of the washer and dryer.
The home is located across the street from a nine hole golf course, within 3 miles of a shopping village with restaurants and shops, and about three block from a transit bus. The house is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood.
We are centrally located to all that Sonoma County has to offer. We are located just ten minutes from Sonoma County Airport, 20 minutes to Calistoga "gateway to the wine country", on the road to the Russian River leading to the Pacific Coast, and 60 minutes to San Francisco.
No smoking inside the house. No pets. No loud music.
Bonnie and her home are warm, welcoming, and quiet. She was flexible with my arrival and departure times. The room and shared bathroom are clean. Bonnie set out a bowl in the room with fruit and chocolate. If you need a place to work, the internet speed and lighting is good here.
It was a pleasure staying with Bonnie at her Wikiup house. She greeted us a with a warm smile and, after staying for a month, we departed with a warm hug.
When we (my husband and I) first arrived we were shown our room which was accurate to the listing description. To our delight, the room also came with a vase of flowers, fruit bowl and chocolates ! Special touches never go unnoticed.
While we were there, Bonnie had 2 other long stay guests along with her son and grandchild. All were very pleasant and nice to talk to.
The house has a nice patio and backyard to enjoy on nice days. Shilo Park is just down the road, and there is plenty of nice streets for walking and getting a bit of exercise.
I really liked this room and Bonnie was so kind and sweet and so hospitable. It is very homey and warm and the room was cozy. Bonnie offered coffee and tea, even breakfast if you so desired. The first night I arrived, as it was later in the evening, she even asked if I wanted dinner. I declined, but I thought how nice that was. Being a mother and a grandmother, I'm sure asking that comes natural to her.
I would recommend Bonnie's home, absolutely. You do have to share a bathroom, but that really posed no problem in the 7 nights I stayed there. A very nice place to stay. As I said earlier, it was warm and cozy and homey. I miss it already. Thank you Bonnie for being such a good host.
Bonnie is extremely welcoming-always offering a cup of refreshment or food or driving directions. Bonnie was available the entire time we stayed there. (2 nights). Very good value. Peaceful neighborhood and easy parking right there.
She is sooooo nice! We have a good time during we stay there. She try her best to let you comfortable. The room is clean and shower tower and chocolate fruit is ready when you there. We spend Thanksgiving Day together.
It was such a pleasure to pay to stay in a spot where I knew my money was going directly to help Bonnie raise her grandchild. I slept great here and enjoyed taking walks out under the full moon in this lovely quiet neighborhood as well as taking a bath before bed. Bonnie is friendly and welcoming and allowed me to make my own breakfast with her food which I was so grateful for!

I am a retired art and drama teacher, mother of four and grandmother of seven. I Love to travel, love interesting people, love to paint in oils, watercolor and work in collage. My granddaughter, Isabella lives with me along with my dog and two cats.
I love my house it is airy and light and inviting with lots of windows in a wonderful neighborhood where I can take long walks in beautiful surroundings.
I am a non smoker and not much of a drinker. I don't mind if someone smokes outside in the patio but not in the house.
