Beautiful country home on 20 acres close to town, yet with a private, country feel. Wake to roosters crowing! The room is the upper floor of the farm house complete with private sitting area. Mingle with alpacas, rabbits, dwarf goats, chickens, ducks and our Golden Retrievers. Collect farm fresh eggs for breakfast! Enjoy our farmhouse saloon from 8am - 9pm where you can play games or shoot a game of pool. We are also open to the public from 10am - 3pm.

The space
Large private space on the upper floor of the farm house. There is a queen bed and a leather couch which folds out into a twin bed for one adult or two children. Lots of space for guests with sleeping bags if needed. The room is located upstairs; shared bathroom on the main floor. No elevator access. Amenities include: heat/AC, free wi-fi and basic cable, coffee pot, microwave, and dorm fridge. Help your-self to a continental breakfast in the main kitchen. You-cook oatmeal bar, and you may collect fresh eggs from our hens and cook them anyway you like. Head outside for some animal snuggles. Our chickens, goats, bunnies, alpacas, sheep, labradoodle and golden retrievers will be excited to meet you. Check out our gardens and pick what's for dinner, fresh from the farm.

Where you’ll be

Poulsbo, Washington, United States

Poulsbo is a Norwegian town with lots of unique boutique shops, and is surrounded by water and snow capped mountains. There are plenty of outdoor adventures to be had. If you are a runner/walker, there is a great (almost 5 mile) loop to Island Lake, which is a great place to go swimming and fishing. We are very conveniently located between Bremerton and Silverdale. We are very close to Bangor and Keyport bases. We are 25 minutes from the Bremerton-Seattle ferry and this is the easiest ferry to catch to get to our home. We are at the end of the dirt road, please respect our neighbors by driving slow once you leave the pavement.

Retired from the Navy in 2014 after 21.5 years in the Submarine Force. Now I'm working at NUWC Keyport and doing our best to have a small working farm.
