Our neat, cozy and renovated bungalow is ideally located in SE Portland between Hawthorne and Division streets, close to beautiful Mt Tabor as well as to public transportation. Your room is the upstairs full-floor suite with skylights, a covered porch and a full bathroom. A perfect place for two!
Bright upstairs space, tastefully remodeled and home to two adorable, friendly cats. The upstairs suite has a main room with a double bed, and a side room with a pull-out couch.
Shared use of kitchen and front and back porches and washer/ drier.
We will be here to greet you upon your arrival, share helpful tips for exploring Portland, and answer any questions. However, you'll have privacy and separation from the rest of the house in the upstairs suite. We're travelers ourselves and know the value of balance between helpful guidance and having some privacy.
It's a lovely old Portland neighborhood in a
very desirable part of the city. A 2-minute walk to the north takes you to the heart of Hawthorne, ten blocks to the east is beautiful Mt Tabor, and a 2-minute walk to the south takes you to Division St, another fantastic area with restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shopping.
The nearest bus stop is a 2-minute walk and Hawthorne and Division streets are major bus lines.
Please note that we have two cats, so if you're allergic, this probably isn't the space for you.
Kind, smart, welcoming couple. Very clean and quiet space. Friendly cats. Comfortable neighborhood.
Daniella and Jason are lovely people and their home is clean and inviting. The guest space upstairs is simple and comfortable, and the neighborhood is excellent. I'd be happy to stay with them again!
Jason and Daniella were great and very accommodating. Our plane got in earlier than the check-in time, so they left us the keys so that we could get in and leave our bags. Their house is beautiful and the upstairs area that they leave for guests is perfect- very private and romantic. Unfortunately we were in and out of the house all weekend, so we didn't get to see our hosts much, but Jason gave us some great food recommendations (the area that they live is full of great restaurants and bars). The only warning that I would give is that there is no door between the loft/guest sleeping area and the downstairs!
Daniella and Jason were amazing hosts! Their place was perfectly located for almost all the things we wanted to do, and is very close to transit for the times we needed to bus somewhere.
They were really helpful in suggesting places to eat at and things to see, and made us feel more than welcome in their home. I can't wait to come back to Portland and stay with them again!
Daniella and Jason were excellent hosts and made us feel more than at home. Not to mention they provided us with awesome suggestions for things to do/eat/drink in Portland. Their gorgeous home is situated in the perfect neighbourhood, walkable distance to everything awesome in the Southeast. I would without hesitation recommend anyone to stay here, it definitely made our short weekend away just perfect.
Daniella and Jason are AMAZING hosts. They have a lovely, spacious home and offer excellent recommendations of where to eat, drink and play in Portland.
Lovely place- fantastic location - and excellent hosts. We felt very at home in Jason and Daniella's lovely house. It was great to be so near to some super restaurants and bars. Bus links to downtown and other parts of Portland were very convenient. Thanks for a great stay!!
Beautiful little craftsman bungalow. It was very clean and had the nicest cat you'll ever meet. The hosts provided us with great things to do since it was or first time in Portland. It is centrally located in a great neighborhood, with easy access to all parts of Portland.
My sister and I had just moved to Portland after driving across the country. We were so relieved to have found Daniella and Jason's house through Airbnb while we searched for apartments. Such a cool place! The location is smack in the middle of everything - Stumptown Coffee, several fantastic restaurants, and the gorgeous Mt. Tabor park are all within walking distance of the house. Daniella and Jason are incredibly knowledgable of Portland and can give all kinds of recommendations on things like beer, neighborhoods, the best place to catch a movie, and so much more. The room they are offering is clean and charming with a large bed, a futon, and a music room. There's a private bathroom with a tiny shower (watch your head!). The private balcony is great for getting fresh air in the mornings and evenings. There is a gas-powered fireplace (and a couple cats) to keep your feet warm on colder nights. We had a great time, and we fully enjoyed our stay.
Jason and Daniella's home is wonderful. The house has great energy and nice decor. The upstairs portion where I slept is perfect -- clean, spacious and cozy. Jason was extremely gracious and spent time suggesting places for me to check out in the neighborhood. The location is perfect. I look forward to coming back!
