Staying at Chris' place was perfect for our trip. The location is superb and it's in walking distance to a lot of the places we wanted to go to. Chris greeted us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful. For the rest of our time Chris was on call if we needed him but left us to get on with our holiday. The apartment is a decent size and is pretty quiet giving privacy and a nice escape after a long day of sight-seeing in Hollywood.
Great flat in perfect location, very easy going host, really recommend it as somewhere to say.
My girlfriend and I stayed at Chris's place for almost a full month, and loved it. He was extremely nice and accommodating. The house is in a perfect location, really convenient to all kinds of good stuff in West Hollywood, and easy to get around town. Chris was super quick to respond anytime we had questions or needed anything. I would highly recommend this place.
This apartment is unbelievable! I will never stay in a hotel ever again! 12 nights we spent here, absolutely the safest and best located place in West Hollywood. Chris is very helpful and friendly, the best host I've ever had. Highly recommended.
Stay here! We were very happy and comfortable staying at Chris' place. I consider myself pretty picky and we were immediately happy here.
-location! Yes it's an awesome location. Not only is it close to everything but it's also a safe part of town. It's like a guest house off of the main house that Chris lives in. But aside from getting the key we never saw the hosts so it never felt like we were in someone else's space.
-very livable space, there's a nice size bedroom and a totally functional livingroom space with TV, a small couch, and a desk. Definitely good for a couple who can live in smaller spaces as it's not huge, but very quaint. I was overjoyed when I saw the lava lamp! The kitchen is cute but very small. I love to cook and so if you do too you'll have to be selective with the amount of items you're making at once. But I still loved it. The fridge and freezer were completely empty and clean. There isn't tons of cupboard space so don't buy the whole grocery store before coming. Great that there were spices and teas and other little things that you always need but never can travel with. The bathroom was clean. The only downside here was that we were only given one set of towels, which seemed a bit dated, and for being there a whole week without a washer/dryer, two sets would have been nice. But honestly it didn't even phase us and so I never gave Chris a chance to maybe offer us another set so that's on us.
One unfortunate thing was that the neighbor next door liked to listen to the radio at full blast at 7:30am. Because the air conditioner is permanent in the window there was no way to block the sound. I've had way worse sound issues at other places though, so in the grand scheme of things it was nothing. But if you're super sensitive to sound and you need to sleep in, then maybe just ask if the air conditioner could be unscrewed for your stay?
This place was so great. We immediately felt comfortable in the space. Chris greeted us when we got there and was so nice. They also have a beautiful fluffy cat who lives in the main house but whom you'll see suntanning near this apt. So if you love cats you'll get to pet one and if you're allergic he never comes in the apt so you don't have to worry. In our case this was the best of both worlds. :)
There's also a parking spot so that's great.
Enjoy your stay!
This place was perfect, Great location and central to all the work I had to do. The place was great, lots of room for my clothes and really clean. Chris was a great host. I will certainly be staying here again
The Flat is very nice and cosy, the perfect base for a holiday in LA
I haven’t spent much time in there as I was driving up and down the state most of the time, but whenever I came back from a trip I enjoyed the silence and the powerful Wi-Fi around the flat for staying in touch with my friends.
I would have a preferred a bet with a harder mattress, but this is my particular preference
I am definitely going back there
Excellent host. Everything was exactly as described. If you need a place to stay in West Hollywood, Chris is the host you want.
I previously stayed in Chris' other place, the studio, which I liked better even though it was smaller. But the same pros apply here: Chris is super responsive and nice, great central WeHo location with truly walkable restaurants & bars, off-street parking spot, and fantastic price. A few cons: the place is a little bit worn and it's a bit stuffy because most of the windows are painted shut. But the pros outweigh the cons.
Great location and Chris was very easy to get in touch and coordinate check in / out! Thanks Chris!
