  • The view was great! The place is very large. There was only 3 of us that stayed here. The place can easily hold 8+. The place isn't spotless, but as a traveler, does it really matter? The location, convenience, ease, and price should outweigh any negative.

  • For out of town guests, we rented the Sweeping Mtn and Downtown Views property. The host, Norm S, was wonderful: funny, helpful, but non-intrusive. Although he is readily available, the guests felt comfortable and like the privacy of the place.

The place is so airy and totally Tucson. It was the perfect place for 3 adults to spread out, have their own room, and a nice large central hangout area.

Definitely next time a group needs a place I will look for Norm! Our guests were extremely happy and comfortable with the place; had no trouble getting downtown (just about 5-10 mins by car).

Finally, all of those pictures are really taken on-site; I couldn't believe the view! Gorgeous.

  • Norm was flexible with times, friendly, professional, and capable. He went out of his way to accommodate our check in time, even arranging to meet with our daughter a day early to provide her the key and review the electronics, etc. available in the home. The kitchen was extremely well-appointed, the beds comfortable and clean; the home was perfect for our group. The balcony provided a fantastic grill, a table and chairs that fit more than eight, and the great view that so many other reviews referenced.

  • This house was perfect for our needs. It was spotless! Norm takes great care of his properties and could not have been more accommodating. I absolutely recommend this beautiful Tucson property to anyone that is viewing this listing. AS you can see from the pictures.. this house features a beautiful patio. Norm was also kind enouph to have the house fully stocked with towels, toiletries and anything you can think of. Thanks Norm... Hope to see ya soon.

  • Norm was wonderful!!! He was incredibly accommodating to our big group (answering questions, meeting someone early with the key, etc). Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Easy drive to downtown tucson, great for big groups. There are three private bedrooms (good for couples, and one has a single bed+crib in it as well), then another room that is curtained off from the living room with a single bed, and a pull out couch that can sleep two in the living room. One bath in the hall, one in between the curtain room and the bedroom with the kingsize bed. Beautiful views of Tucson, plenty of room in the living room/kitchen area to hang out, and a nice deck. Thanks, Norm!!!

  • We ended up having to cancel our trip at the last minute. Prior to canceling however, Norm was very communicative and helpful as we planned our stay. We will keep Norm's property in mind for future Tucson visits.

  • We loved staying here. It'(email hidden) for families with small kids, and as everyone else has said - you really can't beat the view. The unit had everything we could have wanted - from kitchen implements to a high chair and even crayons and books for the kids. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we're ever back in Tucson. Wish we could have stayed longer.

  • We enjoyed spring break in Tucson by visiting family and seeing the sights. We loved the location, cleanliness and view of Norman's place. The layout is perfect for families-everybody had space to relax and we were not climbing over one another. Norman's place had everything we needed to be supremely comfortable. We hope to be back next year!

  • The view from Norm's balcony was wonderful. My visitors and I spent most of our time out there. Norm's house was very nice, old style, yet reasonably clean and every need we had Norm was quick to supply. You are right there by downtown, close to the freeway, but not so close to get the noise. The price is right and plenty of room for a family.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Norm's - there is a fantastic view from the patio, the master bedroom is large and comfortable, and the house is conveniently located, maybe a 10 minute drive from downtown. Norm was around to answer any questions and sort things out for us, but gave us plenty of space to enjoy our vacation. If you get the chance, check out his unique book that's a collection of poetry + a driving tour of some of Tucson's architectural wonders.
