My comfortable room is set with an amazing kitchen, and a comfortable twin XL bed. You will be 15mins walk from UT campus, and 2 mins from major busline, you will only be 15mins ride or an hour walk away from Historic 6th. (Free parking in back)
It's a cozy apartment, quite rustic in feel, and is my personal office right now.
All of the food plates, cereal, spices, in the fridge and in the cabinet are available for use. Although you can use my spices as much as you want, anything from the fridge or the cabinet you can have at cost( I love portable healthy meals) I am going on the honor system so I ask guests to write down or text me what they took so I can text them an invoice.
Interaction with Guests
If I am home I am likely to be very interactive if the guest is still awake.
It is very close to the Austin Airport, 30 second walk from an amazing coffee shop (La Tazza Fresca), close to UT, I can walk to 6th street from where I live, and I have a Starbucks across the street as well.
Bus is easiest and cheapest($1. One-way; $2All-day bus pass)
Walking- for those with some time to spare and don't want to miss anything.
Car- Good way to get around... Unless u just wanna go downtown.(if u wanna go downtown it's much easier to take the bus for parking purposes.

Cody responded swiftly to a same-day request. He was very welcoming, kind, and made me feel like at home. For $25, you get what you paid for. Cody's place is a small student apartment. The bed is actually in the living room where the sofa would normally be. You are technically in a different room which gives a little extra privacy. There is a small desk that you can use too if you need to use your laptop. The only downside is that you need to go through Cody's room to access the restroom but you get used to it quickly.
The apartment is in a very good location, with access to laundry facilities, coffee shops, and restaurants (walking distance). Don't forget to sign on the world map on the fridge!
I would stay here again.
Cody was very accommodating with check-in and check-out. Didn't get a chance to meet him as he works late and I stayed out late too.
Bed was comfy (think dorm style) and there is a convenience store across the back alley. Starbucks, Gatti's Pizza, and other food choices less than a block away on foot. Great spot! Cost $6-8 to take an Uber or Lyft to UT-Austin campus.
Cody was very accommodating, which makes a big difference in a small space (as described in post). He pointed out lots of fun things in the neighborhood. Great value, simple and comfortable room in college part of town.
Neighborhood is close to downtown. Easy access. Cody was a good host and provided good local food recs.
Cody is a kind, personable, and understanding guy. He spent half an hour talking to me about places to check out in Austin, which proved to be great conversation fodder when I had meetings with other people. The room is located in a nice neighborhood, a block away from a major bus route. I walked to UT Austin from his place but you can easily catch a free shuttle to campus if that's what you prefer. Would definitely stay with Cody again.
Cody was very welcoming, trusting, and accomodating. He gave me a key to the apartment and was very generous in offering full use of his fridge, kitchen, and personal shower. Cody was very amiable, sharing his opinion on Austin and the best places to eat. If you want to be independent, Cody will not bother you and having your own key to his apartment is very helpful. The apartment is also clean---It is clear that Cody prepares for his guests' arrival.
Cody's apartment on 37th Street is in an excellent location. One can walk from his apartment to the center of the University of Texas campus in about 15 minutes or less. From there, it is easy to catch a bus to downtown and 6th Street. Walking from Cody's house to 6th Street is very straightforward and takes around 40 minutes or less. Cody's neighborhood is very safe, and I felt completely comfortable walking to and from downtown by myself at night.

I am an active entrepreneur who is always on the go. I am a very laid back person, but I like to get a lot of things done. I am also a part-time/full-time student at Austin Community College and University of Texas studying Economics and Accounting. I have a wide variety of interests in terms of hobbies but my favorite thing do with guests and friends would be to play Tennis and Racquetball. I am a native born Texan with an intense desire to travel the world.
I look forward to meeting many of you and hope your days and filled with mystery and adventure.
