Great room, great location, friendly & trusting hosts who were happy to assist with any information.
The Hotel Manitoba is a great place to stay in Vancouver . The house is centrally located within easy walking distance to Main Street, and easy access by bus/skytrain or even walking to downtown. The room is great, with plenty of space, and the separate entrance is very convenient. There is a lot of information provided in the room about neighborhood and greater Vancouver activities/attractions. The deck looks like it would be a great place to relax in good weather. Because my time in Vancouver was short and busy, I didn't have much chance meet Tyler or his roommates, but the room was exactly what I needed and made my stay very enjoyable. Thanks!
My stay here was perfect! The room is large but so still warm and cosy. The hosts made me feel very welcome and were so helpful.
The house is in a great location too, close to grocery stores and the walk to downtown isn't far.
I spent one week in the Manitoba Hostel.
It was great ! Roommates are welcoming (even if everyone is really busy), the room is big and clean as on the pictures, the house is cozy And very clean. I was really independent as there is a private access to the room.
I had a great time and definitely recommend then !
I had a great stay with Hotel Manitoba. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the separate entrance made it easy to come and go without feeling as if I was disturbing anyone living in the house. Tyler is very responsive to any questions you might have. I ended up not being around much, but everyone was very friendly when I did see them. Not far from bus and SkyTrain routes, which made getting around easy.
This is a great place to stay. The room is spacious and nicely decorated with guides to Vancouver outings, books, and even some DVDs. Your private exit and a huge back balcony would be especially great in summer.
I met three of the four people living in the house and everyone was very friendly and open to conversation. The neighbourhood is great if you want to be near funky Main Street. I'm pretty sensitive to noise so just used ear plugs on a couple of nights to stifle some of the traffic sounds from 12th street, but many people would probably not notice. A great vegetarian place nearby - The Foundation - was suggested by Tyler. Thanks so much! - I went back here twice. Great food and atmosphere! Overall a great place to stay.
We had a great experience in Vancouver. Our stay at Hotel Manitoba was very comfortable. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay again!
We are three girls and a guy, all young professionals and students who love the area that we're in. We all like biking, hiking, skiing and most forms of outdoor activities so we have a wealth of knowledge to share with guests. If we aren't crazy busy we do like to have a few drinks and food with guests if they like, but we are also good at respecting space when needed.
We have a bit of a garden, free parking, a nice deck attached to the AirBnB room with a private entrance for our guests, spacious living room, two bathrooms and a lot of hospitality.
