Great place to stay! Cynthia and Geoffrey were more than helpful and gave my me and my mother several great suggestions. We had our own little apartment upstairs - the pictures actually DO NOT do it justice - it's a great space. Location is perfect for access to greenport/wineries as well.
Love the dogs too! Would definitely stay here again.
Everything was as listed. Geoffrey and Cynthia were very welcoming and accommodating. Their pets were also adorable and fun to play with. We had a lovely breakfast of bagels and coffee one morning. Would definitely stay with them again!
Extremely gracious and welcoming hosts. Quiet location but central to many great spots. Spacious private bedroom and living room with snacks, water and free wifi all appreciated. Use of hosts' kitchen. Felt like staying with old friends.
My girlfriend and I stayed at Cynthia and Geoffrey's home for a weekend. They are lovely hosts---friendly, welcoming and helpful. The space was perfect for us--two comfortable twin beds, a clean bathroom with a good shower, and a nice separate sitting area. There was even a basket of goodies, including fresh baked goods, waiting for us when we got to our room, and great coffee and bagels available in the morning. And if you are dog lovers, they have two wonderful golden retrievers to offer affection as well. All in all, we had a great weekend and would definitely return.
Geoffrey and Cynthia gave us a very warm welcome, waiting in the street for us, since it was so dark. Geoffrey even guided us all the way to the nearest restaurant.
The room was really large and very comfortable, and the goodie bag was a nice surprise! The two dogs were so sweet. Unfortunately we stayed so short, for it is a great place to enjoy the area for a longer period.
What a relaxing wedding weekend made even more wonderful by the accommodations provided by Geoff and Cynthia. Thanks for being flexible and offering great recommendations(Greenport Harbor Brewing Co was awesome!). Would stay again no doubt!
We really enjoyed to stay at Cynthia's & Geoffrey's beautiful place. The neighborhood is very nice and our rooms were clean and welcoming. We also enjoyed getting to know their lovely and very kind (!) dogs and had great conversations with Cynthia and Geoffrey. We would recommend this place to other airbnb-users, who want to have a nice stay on Long Island.
My wife Cynthia is a painter and I am a writer. We love meeting people from other places and cultures. We have made award-winning animated movies together and collaborate on all our projects. We live here with our two Golden Retrievers and cat. I have just completed my second novel and Cynthia is producing a series of illustrations on the birds of the North Fork.
