Cynthia and Geoffrey are so lovely and warm. They have a charming home and the accommodations are exactly as described. We also loved their very friendly and beautiful dogs. I almost forgot to mention the delicious blue duck cookies, very yummy! We look forward to returning again next summer. Thank you : )
Geoffrey and Cynthia were super duper welcoming and friendly. Checking in was easy and smooth and the location not tricky to find. Everything was comfortable, including the beds! Snacks provided and coffee/tea and cereal available for breakfast.
The location was great - we really enjoyed a gentle jaunt to the beach, which was so delightful for morning and evening swims. So nice not having to worry about parking permits to go to the beach - a real plus.
Geoffrey and Cynthia were an interesting and friendly couple that really went out of their way to be hospitable, including finding us a nice restaurant and chaperoning us there. Nice friendly dogs too. Thank you! I hope we can come and stay again.
We had a wonderful stay with Geoffrey and Cynthia. The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location convenient to numerous wineries, beaches, and Greenport. The hosts were nice and very welcoming. Thank you!!!
Geoffrey and Cynthia were so welcoming and kind. They greeted us in person when we arrived (along with their amazingly adorable dogs + cat) and showed us everything to get us situated. They also offered us their deck and kitchen to use while we were there. The house is beautiful and the rooms we stayed in were really comfortable, clean and fit 3 of us perfectly. Their house is in a perfect location in Southold- there's a stunning beach that's literally a 5 min walk from the house (we walked) and we drove to 2 different wineries within 5-10 min drive. Greenport is a 15 min drive away and we enjoyed dinner and ice cream there. We also drove to Greenport the next day and took the ferry to spend the day in shelter island. I highly recommend this house, the hosts are so welcoming and warm and had great recommendations and it was the perfect, comfortable launching off point to really enjoy the North Fork of Long Island. We hope to be back soon!
Cynthia and Geoffrey were so welcoming and accommodating - we were held up in traffic and kept pushing our arrival time back but they were so gracious about it.
They kept in contact leading up to our arrival, shared their knowledge of local hotspots, and provided much-appreciated snacks and drinks when we got there.
The second night of our stay we came home late, and appreciated the hosts' trust in giving us a key to come and go as needed.
Parking was very easy. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet, convenient to all the commercial destinations in the North Fork but also right in the middle of its natural beauty.
The private suite was cozy and scrupulously clean, with all the conveniences we could have asked for - wifi, little soaps and shampoos, towels, and adorable dogs. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Geoffrey and Cythia were wonderfull hosts, very welcoming, and always there to help. We had a fantastic time with both of them and their 2 beautiful dogs!
You have 2 superb beaches within walking distance.
The area is very calm and charming.
The rooms look better in reality than the pictures themselves . It was all such a fabulous experience. I will definitely go back again.
5 stars for this acomodation!
