A place to relax and refresh yourself after a long flight from home or to end your trip nicely before heading back home. This room is the only room on the ground floor of the house, with private entrance, outdoor sitting space, and outdoor Jacuzzi tub. The house is located in a peaceful historic residential area of Bangkok near hip Ari area.
The space
Baannai is a colonial house renovated for modern day comfortable stay. The host, an interior designer, intended to reminisce the glorious days of the house “Baannai-the house in the middle” where her 3 beloved great aunts used to live happily and surrounded by other family members in the other houses around it.
The room is one of the 4 rooms available for guests, each with its unique design.
This room is named “Botan” or Peony. Its decoration has a glimpse of the Chinese influence, clearly visible in the decorative items, furniture, housewares, and color scheme. This is to reminisce the popularity and influence of Chinese style to Thai home decoration in the old days. A jacuzzi at the back of the room adds modern touch and complements the sense of relaxation.
Guest access
Apart from your private room, you will also be able to access the public area of our property i.e lobby/restaurant area, garden, and second floor balcony.
Other things to note
- Please note that per Thai Immigration Regulation, we need to report of foreigners’ stay in our property, therefore, before check-in, please send us copies of passports. All guests who are staying at our property are required to submit these documents. Your passport information will be used for security purposes only. We have a full right to deny your check-in without any refund if you do not comply on this.
- External visitors and/or unregistered guests are not allowed to entry.
- As this is a residential area, please be respectful and mindful of other residents.
- Please also note this is our own residence and is not a hotel. You are renting our room with amenities provided without any refill and no hotel-like service will be provided
- Our team manages this listing remotely including self check-in/check-out. We do have our onsite housekeeper to assist you, but they are not fluent in English. Therefore, please communicate with us here in Airbnb or call us, we will try our best to address your concern/problem.
-Do not change shower head and shower hose. It will impact to water pressure. Any damage of malfunction, penalty fee of 1000 baht will be charged.
-The property is located opposite the train station. Guests may hear train and announcement noise between 5:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
Earplugs are provided for your comfort.
-The property is equipped with 4 external CCTV cameras located at the front gate (left and right), the area in front of the main entrance, and the rear garden area.
- Smoking of all kinds (eg. cigarette, weeds, drug) and Durian are not allowed inside the room and at balcony. If found, a penalty of 5,000 THB will be applied for odor removal and deep cleaning.
All cameras are installed for security purposes only and do not monitor indoor areas.
