Come stay in our beautifully updated 19th century row home conveniently located in downtown Baltimore. Our home is just a ten minute walk to Camden Yards and M&T Bank stadiums, 15 minutes walk to the inner harbor and convention centers and the free circulator bus stops behind the house.

The Space

Our home is larger than the average row home and gives you plenty of space to spread out and get comfortable. Your room is on the third floor where you can lounge on the couch or set up your laptop at the table and get to work in private. While you are here the second floor bathroom with shower and soaking tub is yours to use. The living room on the first floor has cable TV with HBO and Show Time - we have on demand TV so you can have the remote! If you are a cook you will love our kitchen. We cook a lot so have all the tools you need to make a meal for yourself or for an army. The dishwasher is a big time saver as well.
Our WiFi is good enough to work well in our front yard where you can sit on the bench and enjoy the garden. There is also a more private deck in the back if you prefer a sunny spot in the middle of the city where you can be by yourself. Whatever your lifestyle, you will feel right at home.

Guest Access

You get the remote control - we have cable, HBO and Show Time. Feel free to use the kitchen - please clean up after yourself. Washer & Dryer including soap and dryer sheets free for you to use. You get the WiFi password for fast internet access. We have a visitor pass for exclusive on street parking (low traffic street) but if pass is unavailable we also have off street parking that we can make available to you. You will have a full set of keys and will be free to come and go as you please.

Interaction with Guests

Our home is quite large and there is plenty of room for you to find privacy and comfort if that is what you are looking for. We are friendly and outgoing and know a lot about Baltimore particularly its food, architecture, history and art. We are happy to spend the evening over a glass of wine getting to know our guests and helping them navigate the city.

The Neighborhood

We are located on the boarder between Hollins Market neighborhood and the University of Maryland. We like the fact that our neighborhood feels quiet and neighborly while being very near the on/off ramp to I-95, within walking distance of the stadiums, convention center, inner harbor, and downtown. Down the street we have CUPs coffee shop and Zella's Pizza both are fantastic local gathering spots. The B&O railroad museum is nearby, as are the former home of Edgar Allan Poe and his final resting place. Ours is a very connected and historic Baltimore neighborhood.

Getting around

The Light Rail and Metro are a quick couple of bus stops from the house (we usually walk 15 - 20 min instead). You can also bus or walk to the Camden Line MARC train which can take you on a quick day trip to Washington, DC. If you want to go out to Federal Hill, Fells Point or Bolton Hill there is a free bus that can take you all around town called the Charm City Circulator which stops right behind our house so all of the city will be accessible quickly and for free!

  • We stayed about one week in Cassandra and Eric's place and we really enjoyed the house, the room and our hosts. We were working and visiting a lot so we couldn't spend much time with them, but they were always so kind, helpful and welcoming. If your are looking for a nice house in a quiet neighborhood not far from the center with hospitable hosts, then that's the place !

  • I decided to try Airbnb for the first time - I was very happy with the experience. Eric and Cassandra were everything you could hope for as hosts: organized, gracious, helpful and hospitable. The location was convenient walking distance for me for attending the conference centre each day. I would be happy to stay here again.

  • My girlfriend and I were in town for a professional conference, and we decided to try Airbnb for the first time - we were not disappointed! Eric and Cassandra were everything you could hope for in hosts: organized, gracious, and hospitable. With the steep prices of the local hotels, this will be my preferred method of travel housing from now on.

  • Staying with Cassandra and Eric was a pleasure! They were both extremely welcoming and were kind enough to share a glass (or two) of wine with us and gave us everything that we needed. The room is spacious and comfortable and the rest of the house is beautifully decorated. The neighbourhood felt very safe and has an excellent pizzeria (zella's) and is only a short walk to downtown. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

  • Eric and Cassandra were wonderful hosts on our recent trip to Baltimore. Their home is in a great area and within walking distance to all we wanted to see. There was also free bus service right near their home, so getting around the city including the Inner Harbor was a breeze. They were very helpful with restaurant suggestions and anything we needed. Would highly recommend!

  • Eric and Cassandra were friendly and laid back. Their place is nicely and centrally located in the city, which allowed us to scout locations along desirable places of Baltimore: which was the goal of our trip. Their beautiful home is located by the Charm City Circulator, which allows for free transportation. Additionally, the room we were placed in was very quiet, clean, private and comfortable: it was just what we were looking for. High speed Wireless Internet was available and worked without a hitch. I would definitely stay here again if the need were to arise and highly recommend it.

  • I loved to stay at Cassandra's and Eric's house. It was warm, friendly, clean and comfortable. I felt like it was a home for me and the room is huge and has everything that I needed. Both of them are very open-minded and help you with everything. If I had the Chance again to come to Baltimore, I would stay again with them! Thanks for (website hidden) Regards from Germany! • A nice clean place to stay close to the convention center and stadiums.

  • We loved our stay with Cassandra and Eric! Their home is beautiful, lovingly maintained and full of interesting art. The guest room is spacious and thoughtfully appointed--comfortable beds, cheerful decor, even a large bowl of snacks and a pitcher of water and drinking glasses--with easy access to a lovely, large bathroom and laundry room. We had all the privacy we needed and were warmly welcomed into shared areas of their home. Cassandra and Eric also gave us terrific information about ways to get around the city and helped us try out Lyft and Uber for the first time, which ended up being a huge boon. They even loaned us their umbrella when the weather was nasty and invited us to watch TV with them! They are smart and savvy and a lot of fun--we couldn't have asked for nicer hosts or a better Baltimore stay!

My Husband and I are easy going people that love gardening, art, and travel. We are professionals that are looking to host interesting people from all over Baltimore. We are very involved in the community, and unlike most places know and like a lot of our neighbors. We are big foodie's and have been to almost all hot restaurants in the city. The farmers market is a Sunday must. We have three cats that are very calm and loving. I would say we spend a lot of time creating art and reading. When traveling we like to find a place that is like home (clean, quiet, and comfortable). The best part of traveling is meeting new people and learning about a place. What better way than staying with a local.
